Smith is quickly entering the Fani Willis/Alvin Bragg category —a corrupt, egotistical clown with crashing public credibility and waning support from some of his most loyal toadies.
If Trump wins in 2024, I would like to see a federal RICO prosecution of James, Bragg, Willis and Smith for coordinating their malicious prosecutions of Trump to interfere with the 2024 election. This effort was clearly coordinated and corrupt. Even if they all escape conviction, the expense of the trial will be a significant deterrent to future political trials of this nature. Perhaps a special counsel can bring the case in Florida, since some of the action took place there?
I also want to see obstruction of justice charges for everyone in the DOJ involved with allowing the statute of limitations to lapse on Hunter Biden's 2 biggest revenue years. A special counsel should have a field day on this one. The statute of limitations on obstruction is 5 years, so everyone involved in the case can be indicted, small fry up to AG. Look for a lot of witness tampering on this one as well.
President Trump is Constitutionally empowered, as President, to handle the very records that Jack Smith and his merry band of FBI raiders have no authority to handle any more than Joe Biden, as a senator had.
If anyone deserves, and should be prosecuted, it is Jack Smith the prosecutor who was never approved by the Senate to do anything close to what the DOJ has permitted him to do.

I said early on that this indictment/matter would never go to trial. The circumstances surrounding the Archive's role in this, the circumstances in the granting of the search warrant, the staging of the scene at Mar-a-Lago, and the fact of the "classified documents" having to be somewhat exposed were and are very problematic. If it came out that some of the documents were sent to Mar-a-Lago by the Biden Administration and others were innocuous, well, that would not look great.
I would hope Stanley Woodward would not allow his pending judgeship to bring down the wrath of the bratty Jay Bratt against him. After all, if it's a federal appointment, he could confidently wait until Donald Trump becomes President again.
