1. Merrick Garland is seeking to jail his party's political opponents which is inherently unconstitutional.

2. His use of this statute will be upheld by the DC District and the DC Appellate but will be overturned by SCOTUS.

Garland is miffed that he will never-ever sport the Court's garlands - hence he has become a ready prostitute willing to contort principle and perform legerdemain, and transform principles of law for political revenge.

I'm an Englishman, living in England where the country is now finding out the folly of believing that a Labour Party (democrat) would be better than the Tory Party (republican) that became weak and greedy (see uni party).

We are now seeing our borders disintegrate, and our freedoms destroyed.

We need the United States to come to our rescue again. Unfortunately, you have descended into the same swamp we created a over 800 years ago.

Yes, our swamp is hundreds of years deeper and murkier than yours. And we created the cause. Bureaucrats.

The uni party know that we know they're sinking the Republic and they don't give a fuck.

The root of our problems is the extension of the electoral franchise to nonproductive non-tax-paying persons who can vote themselves government entitlements.

The American people have got to awaken!

The DOJ should be indicting itself. As corrupt as NYC Mayor Adams may be, who was Indicted yesterday by the FBI, he is nothing compared to our government! The enormous number of corrupt federal and state agencies, law enforcement agents, politicians, informants, including the courts involved, is mind boggling. It extends throughout DC and throughout blue states where there are more criminals acting in some layer of government than there are in all of America’s prisons.

This sounds like this applies to the WH rioters/ St John church burning but ESPECIALLY the protestors in front of SCOTUS houses and the snake Schumer who was intimidating SCOTUS outside the court in 2022.

This DOJ needs to be dismantled. I pray President Trump wins and one outcome is the DC court is eliminated forever (just using the Commerce Secretary language).

This is annoying but worse than that a tragedy. My heart goes out to these poor people who have been abused and held as political prisoners.

Political prisoners is exactly the right term.

When did the USA become a third world banana republic?

Land of the free-home of the brave has been replaced with land of the stupid and home of the left.

For people who don't vote-get your asses out there and vote.

Too Big To Rig-or we'll have another four years of this bullshit.

When this J6 debacle first emerged, I read an article in the Epoch Times featuring Thomas Caldwell. As the specter of lawfare has become pervasive in the persecution of people who in any reasonable narrative would be simply ‘Americans exercising their rights to demonstrate’, but more so in that they were not physically part of a crafted ‘mob’, they were simply There to witness an historic event — the ’peaceful’ protest of an eminently disputable election outcome — and with all the subsequent highly questionable and suspicious doubt of the official responses to the ‘known’ expectations of vast public participation in the events of the day. It is clear that one could draw much different views concerning those who were inadvertently, or not, caught in the deeply unfortunate circumstances of the Capitol entrance melees where many people were injured, and at least one life was unnecessarily lost (Boylan), as opposed to those who simply mixed loosely with the crowds who approached the Capitol and perhaps its entrances with no intention to enter or disrupt any proceeding of Congress that day.

But alas! The pathetic preparations for the appearance for any number of legitimate citizens protesting the highly questionable conduct of Congress in handling the electors, and the integrity of the vote at key locations around the nation, (certain states especially questionable), the instigators and agitators who created the chaos and destructive conditions of the entry confrontations, And the Absolute determination of the failed leadership on Capitol Hill to manage effectively or humanely the entire scene of (not unexpected) public demonstration on J6 — All this added to the partisan pressure of the Leftist movement having just come off the BLM and Antifa riots and massive destruction of cities and government buildings, Multiplied the animosity of the State actors who favored the anarchy of the previous summer over the masses of Trump supporters who were simply making a statement of protest by their appearance in DC at the Mall, then moved on to focus on Congress.

Lt.Com Thomas Caldwell, Ret., (honorably) is a prime example of the complete inversion of Justice by those in need power in Congress and D.C. There was a total lack of consideration for ANY mitigating factors in his choice to be in DC on J6 as many thousands of others were to support DJT and the contention that the election was not at the standard of integrity it should be.

Contrast Caldwell with Epps for a perfect example of polar opposites. Now contrast Epps costs and treatment with that of Caldwell’s persecution by every possible means — certainly not alone in the lawfare waged.

This would all be bad enough if Caldwell and other lawfare casualties were prosecuted by the Leftist regime alone: but the screaming silence of captured Uniparty elected members going by the ‘R’ designation is stunning. You would think they might have some pride in opposing such blatant disregard for basic human rights. A FEW DID.

But not what any decent human should expect.

Kudos to Fischer and his commitment to the higher levels of moral development, which have manifested in the highest level of responsibility for the meaning of lawfare to our most honorable patriots.

Thank you Julie for having a lawyer clearly explain this miscarriage of Justice. When will this all end?

Thank you Julie for having Mr. Fischer explain this new charge. J6 defendants continue to be charged with laws no ordinary citizen knew existed.

This DOJ manipulation has all of the characteristics of "cookbook" lawyering, desperate, unoriginal, and grasping.

What is wrong with Merrick Garland and his proven inability to read the plain language of the law book of the United States? He is reading every law as a way to create a straw man argument of how that law can be twisted to be used against his political opponents.

He needs a direct introduction to a tall oak tree.

The weaponized DOJ is getting desperate, they know they are in trouble when we re-elect Trump. I have confidence many of the Biden administration and several FBI,SS, HS and DOJ frauds will be prosecuted for their crimes. 🙏🙏🙏

Thanks for providing this excellent explanation of the desperation that must've consumed that idiot Attorney General of the US. Because that's the only thing that I can think of which must be driving this incredibly corrupt man to continue his witch hunt of former (and future, I'm hopeful) President Trump. It smacks of the most obvious election interference effort I've ever seen or about which I knew. Also, it demonstrates vividly how little respect these Marxists' have for the decision of the Supreme Court that essentially gutted their unconstitutional prosecution/persecution of President Trump. To put the cherry on the top, is also reveals how frightened they are of President Trump. Which informs my desire to have President Trump go after these cretins with all of the power of the feds and put them through the same hell in which he's undergone since M. Hussein used Chi-Com Joe to steal the 2020 election. All that we can do is pray and vote.

Jamal Bowman (Rep. NYC) pulled a fire alarm just prior to a vote on a stop-gap funding bill a year ago. Bowman said was it unintentional; Bowman was fined $1,000.00 and had to write a letter of apology to the Capitol police (I guess writing on a chalkboard 100 times “I am an entitled person” wasn’t strong enough) with the understanding that the charges will be dropped after 3 months.

Thank you, Julie. Attorney David Fischer did a great job in making this insanity clear for all non criminal defense citizens. My greatest frustration besides the ongoing suffering of the gulag prisoners and their families is that this information and understandable explanations are not being read by most Americans who remain completely clueless. By what creative method can they be confronted with this which could possibly persuade some to think and to consider the stakes if they vote for more of the same with Harris. Many are hopeless and a lost cause. The Left are so diabolically creative and unrelenting. What if the Trump campaign put these exposes of Jan. 6 on all social media? Or, is that impossible because it would be censored as ‘ mis or dis information’? It just makes me want to pull my hair out. Is Trump campaign steering clear of much of this? Maybe.
