It's actually amazing Harris has gotten as far as she has -- I've watched her for 5 years now and haven't been impressed with A SINGLE THING that she has said or done. And this woman was supposedly a high-powered lawyer in her past life?

As a retired California lawyer, I can say with confidence that many complete morons get admitted to the bar in this state. Likewise, a nice smile and DEI credentials will get you far in any big firm or public agency. She is a product of her environment who has risen far above her level of competence.

After graduating from law school my son told me that almost anyone can graduate from law school. I’m not sure if that’s true, but having said that, it is certainly true in medicine (my field) that almost anyone can now graduate from med school.

What has happened to our institutions of learning?

They have succumbed to racial and gender politics--it is not just sad but dangerous. To your point, preferential entrance into med schools and hiring preferences not based on ability or skill. Terrifying.

Thank you Julie. Very interesting content. My hopes and prayers are for the people who are incarcerated because of J6. I know President Donald J. Trump will do whatever necessary to get them out of the gulags. It took liars, and evil wicked people to put them in the gulags. My heart goes out to all those treated so unfairly.

Several more J6ers arrested this week including a young man from Florida. Media of course eagerly drag their names through the mud to inflict maximum personal and professional damage. Trump must immediately shut down the "Capitol Breach" prosecution, dismiss all existing cases, pardon nonviolent and most nonviolent offenders, and commute excessive sentences for everyone else.

I was prepared to go to the J6 with friends but received a text that it was a setup and to steer clear. I did not go, deciding I was on enough regime lists.

My friends did go but left early to get home before the Capitol police led disturbance started. They were miles away when they heard of the activities.

Regardless, they both were visited by the local FBI in rural PA a month later at their workplace and their home, TWICE. They were questioned both times wanting to know why they were there.

In addition, friends were in DC on that day for a relatives funeral and interment in Arlington and nowhere near the Capitol.

They too were visited on three different occasions by the FBI. Again, asking why they were in DC. At the third visit they told the FBI if they didn't stop harassing them they would take legal action.

All of this in rural NW PA, a 6 hour drive from DC. What did the FBI hope to gain by harassing all these people more than a month after the event? I suspect to send a message that the regime brownshirts were real and no expense (of taxpayers dollars) would be spared in protecting the coup.

We now know how we were destroyed from within.

And all it took was the protection provided by one Merrick Garland, the real threat to democracy.

It's well known as a fact, the FBI requested credit card info for people in DC that day. Testimony before a congressional committee shows that BOA complied. I imagine they weren't the only bank to do so.

I expect my bank to require a subpoena or warrant before handing over any account info. The fact BOA didn't was my reason for closing my BOA credit card account and my BOA-owned Merrill Lynch account holding all my retirement funds.

I asked my Merrill Lynch account manager about it. He had no explanation for it, beyond banks are heavily regulated, and they have to do what the government says. That's a pitiful explanation. I was embarrassed for him.

Good for you! Every major corporation (except Twitter after Musk purchased it) easily complied with subpoenas without any fight. Google consented to a broad geofence warrant ON January 6. These companies should face investigations and consumer consequences.

Yes, BOA has been on my s*it list for decades. When they bought Merrrill Lynch my heart sank as we love our ML broker very much. Each infraction BOA was involved in, I would talk to Andy about how bad his parent company was, he needed to leave, or we might.

Finally, after about 12 years we received a call from ML and they wanted to assign us to a new financial advisor. My husband said, "I have to talk to Andy", they gave us his cell phone number. He said he left ML for Morgan Stanley, would you like to follow? Hell yes. Had everything transferred in less than a week! FBOA

I was completely unaware of the multiple injuries and fatalities before today, and am shocked, shocked that no one has been convicted for those heinous crimes against law enforcement. Oh, wait, none of that is true. Two women, Trump supporters, were killed on January 6 - Rosanne Boyland and Ashli Babbit. That is true.

Totally totally agree! I find it hilarious that Harris is also running the same campaign strategy as Hilary Clinton did 8 years ago and we know how that worked out! In this case, President Trump and Harris are tied for the National vote and he is ahead in the swing states. He was underpolled in both 2016 and 2020 so it’s possible the margins will be even greater. As Trump said, her campaign is definitely imploding!!

There's a reason none of the other Dem Presidential hopefuls stepped forward to seek the nomination. They all figured they'd be labeled as racist or misogynist for trying to push the double-minority oppressed Veep aside. Plus they knew the chances weren't good for a Dem win in 2024 anyway. Joe was struggling even before the debate embarrassment.

So the smart money for the several Dem Presidential aspirants (Newsom, Warren, maybe Sanders, Whitmer, et al) was to step back and cheer Kamala, which they all did in unison. Trump, by definition, is a one-termer leaving an open field in 2028. And the expected Kamala flame-out would put her out of the running for the nomination then, avoiding any ugly labels.

I feel for the billion dollars flushed down the drain, though.

Cheering Harris seems to be a reasonable Dem hopeful strategy. Play the "good soldier".

If she wins in 2024, they at least have a shot at a 2028 primary. (What are the odds of her doing a good job for 4 years?)

And If she loses they have a shot at a primary!

Very well written, Julie, and a spot-on analysis of the crumbling campaign of one of the dumbest Presidential candidates in the history of our grand Republic. Without violating some understood civility standards, as it were, I will euphemistically state that Harris must have other endearing qualities which were instrumental is her achieving such political heights. That is obvious to anyone with half-a-brain (which pretty much describes her, now that I think about it) who has witnessed that she is incapable of thinking on her feet, even when the questions are "pre-determined," as was the case at that bogus town hall hosted by one of the Kennedy gals. Regarding her despicable screed calling what John Kelly factual, just recall that former (and, I'm hopeful, future) President Donald J. Trump fired Kelly for being incompetent and, also, perhaps working to undermine President Trump's administration. Also, recall, he fired another high ranking officer prior to Kelly's entrance (I believe his name was Mattis). And it's perfectly ironic (meaning that Harris is too dumb to recognize it) that she will demonstrate next Tuesday that the only three things the Marxist-Demos have going for them are: J6, abortion, and Orange Man Bad. Notice that they never run on or defend their policies while, instead, going ad hominum constantly. Pray that the vote to re-elect President Trump will prove to be "Too Big to Rig."

Serious question: Since the Dobbs decision abortion rights are at the state level as they were not found to be a constitutional right. Trump has made it clear that he does not nor would support a national ban on abortion as it is properly placed in states rights. Trump has also said he would/will support IVF and other forms of fertility. So why does this continue to be a national election issue? Kamala would need Congress to approve any changes in law and/or Constitutional amendment…highly unlikely. Additionally any bill pro abortion would be dragged out as a compromise of what would be allowed would bog down the process. I seriously doubt not understand this issue at the national level.

The Dems have "made hay" with J6 from the start; especially with those already inclined to oppose DJT.

But I think (hope?) this will backfire on the Democrats. Not only is it a worn out charge, but over the last 6 months the Left has lost a LOT of credibility.

If Dems highlight J6 the RNC needs to be ready to flood the airways with ads and interviews countering ALL of the misinformation and down right lies handed out still by Biden and Kamala.

SOME people who had been convinced it was the worst event since the Civil War (including Sept11) may reconsider their position.
