Ironically, the Dems are correct in saying that J6 was the worst attack on America since Pearl Harbor.

The difference is that, while Pearl Harbor was an attack launched on us while we slept by an external enemy using bombs and munitions, J6 was a covert propaganda attack on American norms launched through insiders such as the DOJ and Nancy Pelosi, and others. But J6 really was the worst attack on America since Pearl Harbor. And the perpetrators should be aware that we are no longer asleep.

the fact that "all the perpetrators" includes many elected Republicans is making this impossibly hard for my Democrat friends to understand. They think there are exactly two well defined teams fighting and whenever the R's fail to act, they take that as proof that what they see on CNN is correct.

If any rational person belives that the FBI did not have anything to do with formenting the problems on Jan. 6 they will be suprised when the truth fininaly comes out. All you have to do is look at how hard the Justice Dept. and the FBI are fighting to keep that from happening.

Trump is too nice. He’ll let Garland skate into academic obscurity with possibly a ghost written book about how he lived with the angst and stress of having to deal with people who wanted to over throw the government. But as everyone knows, you don’t give a rabid dog a treat, you old Yeller the *ucker.

I believe just the opposite, at least on the issue of J6. I believe Trump wants to exonerate himself from him attempting to overthrow democracy and all the baggage J6 he has carried. I also believe it is one of the reasons that the Dems will do anything to keep him from the WH….they will be revealed. Unlike the Biden laptop & Russia Gate, J6 has inflicted so much damage and created so much negative emotion he wants to clear his name…I certainly would. The Dems know this, know as President his next AG could do a full investigation and the corrupt underbelly of that day would be revealed. Think of all the “scaley” democrats that would be identified on that under belly. The Dems are scared and should be.

ScottyG brings up great points about Donald Trump. Will he be "too nice." It is absolutely true that Trump was victimized by four different prosecutions. But there is one of them that reached the end point in a conviction against him. That was the Stephanie Clifford/Stormy Daniels criminal case (characterized as the hush-money case). It wasn't just that Trump was abused. It was the fact that the prosecutor and the state bar association committed hundreds of disbarrable violations of the rules of professional conduct to target and get their man by manipulating the news media to heavily influence the jury that convicted him. The problem is that Trump doesn't even know it happened and none of his legal advisers have told him. This case is spotlighted in the newsletter, just published yesterday. It's entitled: "What If Donald Trump Found Out." Here is the link: https://therunnymedereport.substack.com/p/what-if-donald-trump-found-out?r=3tdx2w

The Governor Whitmer faux kidnapping plot was the pilot project for the FBI’s January 6th Show. They got away with it in Michigan and then took it to the big leagues in DC, including promoting the FBI manager in Michigan and moving him to Washington DC to manage that office on Jan 6th.

Although I don’t hold out too much hope, it would be fantastic to see everything behind the curtain on both of those incidents. However, Republicans rarely go for broke in situations like this. (As the late great Rush Limbaugh used to quip, “Republicans can’t even smear a bagel with cream cheese.) But if Trump wins, hopefully he’ll push the DOJ to expose the whole sordid mess.

The DOJ and FBI have faced no consequences for keeping their mouths shut in October 2020 when Biden organized 51 active and former intelligence officials to support the lie that Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation. In 2024, I suspect that the DOJ and FBI know that the IG’s report will undermine the Democrats’ lies about J6, which, and would be a stake through the heart of the Harris campaign. Because not releasing the report allows Harris to continue making false claims about an insurrection, not releasing it is election interference.

I sure hope that Chris Wray will be shaking in his boots when Donald J. Trump is re-elected to the POTUS position. Not only will Wray be fired, likely on day one from Trump but it would be altogether fitting that Chris Wray gets a 2:00 a.m. FBI RAID with numerous agents with full riot gear, lighting and bull horns that are present when his front door gets rammed down in place! And then the slime ball should be frog walked in full chain gear from waist to feet out to the vehicles and loaded in one of his old black SUV's!

And then I would suggest that the Wash. D.C. US Attorney Matthew Graves get the same exact treatment like around 3:00 a.m. with the whole riot gear presence with multiple FBI agents doing a Mar-A-Lago Raid on Graves' sorry butt as well. Chain up the turd and perp walk his butt to his own private Idaho vehicle to be carted off to jail!

Now, what is the likelyhood that the following jerks get similar treatment: Tanya Chutkan, Arthur Engoron, Juan Merchan, Leticia James, Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis, Nathan Wade, the Secty of State wenches of Colorado- Griswold and Maine's - Bellows and then California's Eleni Kounalakis and Shirley Weber to be scared shtless at their early morning in person "raid" wake up call?

I say give em all a chance to soil their armor when the RAID INVESTIGATORS make an early morning in person visit on each of these butts!

Quite a few things would need to come together for some of that happen. The raid would presumably have be carried out by the FBI. For that to happen Republicans would have to take both the presidency and the Senate. Anti Trump Republicans would have to agree to nominate a new FBI director likely to investigate the FBI'S role in January 6th. I worry that the current Jan 6th narrative was seen by some Republicans as a way to purge Trump from the party.

By now, I believe both Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray are beneath contempt. They are disgusting human shields for the Den of Jackals (DOJ) and the Full Bucket of Idiots (FBI).

At the conclusion of this election season, and assuming Donald Trump wins the presidential election, I would hope that he would force those two miscreants to go public and say every bit of factual information they have that justifies their corrupt actions, and allow a full cross-examination of their statements in public. These criminals need to be brought out into the open and exposed for the criminals that they are. We need to have a fully public trial of those two. And after they are convicted by a jury of their peers, which may include some who were prosecuted for their actions in Washington, DC on the date that should not be mentioned, there should be a public execution.

Never again!

Just a thought- maybe, a crazy stupid one. You’ll judge. What if the Trump campaign put out an ad “ pre- empting” Garland/ Horowitz on this obvious election interference? Referencing ( reminding) in the ad of the shenanigans in the 2020 election regarding Hunter’s laptop and other bad acts intended to influence voters against Trump. In other words, get ahead of the story; voters: do not be deceived again! Anything to be lost by doing that?

I’m all for getting the truth out to the electorate, since Jack Smith is smearing his reputation publicly as we speak. All the alleged SC has is more allegations, not proof. I really appreciate your cogent analysis of this thorny issue, Julie, but certainly you can't be serious with your comments directed at the "Attack Yorkies" in the House of Representatives, are you? As anyone with a modicum of sense has noticed during the previous three years, expecting those Inside-the-Beltway-Establishment-Statists-RINO's actually to do something to reward their constituents for voting them into office is similar to waiting for Godot, if you get my reference. Al they are capable of doing is writing "sternly written letters" to the Marxists who control the Deep State with non expectation of resolving any issue, regardless of the topic included in those issues. Quite obviously, those cocktail party invitations are too precious to upset the apple cart, don't you know?

The irony of the alleged SC making public all the allegations that he can still dig up, alleging “private crimes” with his opponent painting him as a criminal ….juxtaposed against the DOJ being unable to produce a document until “after the election.” A document that would vindicate the same candidate. Are we stupid? Can we not see that they are all playing the election interference game? Heads I win, tails you lose. Apparently the players think so, and they will trick many that don’t know that allegations mean nothing, but sound serious. Many are being played. As I said previously, this is news that should be published by the Trump campaign, leaked to the press. And he definitely needs a counter ad to the one smearing him.

This is a great quote by desmond oneill: "...fair outcomes today are quite impossible with the malfeasance and the power of money." Our American justice system provides the perfect model for fair outcomes. It has the protections of due process (the Fifth Amendment) and the defendant's right to an impartial trial (the Sixth Amendment) as the basis for ensuring fair outcomes. It also went one step further in providing disbarment penalties against prosecutors who find ways to defeat those two amendments in the rules of professional conduct. All it needs is honest state bar officials who prosecute those prosecutors who won't comply with the requirements. The problem is that the state bar officials are just as corrupt as the malfeasant prosecutors. Want proof? It's in the newsletter, just published two days ago, entitled: "What If

Donald Trump Found Out?" It shows how bad this corruption is while at the same time showing that there is a solution when people decide they won't take anymore, starting with
