Ed Martin, the acting DC US Attorney, is demanding records related to charging decisions made by his predecessor to unlawfully apply a document-tampering statute against 350+ J6ers.
I hope that the fecal material is finally hitting the oscillating cooling device : ). My son spent 11 months in prison for non violent protesting and praying on Senate Floor. In fact, he even scolded fellow protesters who were messing up an office "cut that s... out, that is not why we are here". The corrupt perpetrators of this travesty of justice should be charged with malicious prosecution combined with criminal negligence. Both prosecutors AND the judges who were in collusion with them.
I am sorry, Chris, I hope your son is doing ok. The judges, as I've always said, are the true villains here. DOJ gets away with nothing if the judges don't allow it. And their bitterness and partisanship until the very end demonstrates their anti-Trump bias. The DC federal courts must be defunded and judges moved to other jurisdictions.
Yes, he’s doing fine. Their actions have put a fire in our souls. Our son even warned them at sentencing in Oct 2023 that what happens here is not done in a vacuum and many back in Iowa are watching attentively. Well, all over the country millions were watching and voted for a “convicted felon”. “Those who hunger and thirst for justice will be satisfied”.
I was watching the Kash Patel hearing today. The Democrats are Still obsessed on Jan. 6. I also think they are (rightly so) Worried that the Real story will come out.
God bless you, Julie. I'm sure anyone who reads January 6 knows the thorough factual reporting that brings to light the Sovie-style persecution of Trump supporters who were alive on Jan 6. Your tremendous book will help bring true justice to these victims.
I hope that the new DOJ investigation and the new J6 congressional investigation repeatedly haul every one of those DOJ staff and DC judges before them and a grand jury.. I’d like them all to go bankrupt paying attorney fees just like they so happily did to people like the J6ers and John Eastman. Make them all face the same process.
I really hope that happens. My hunch is Congress will be too cowardly to confront the judges but it is absolutely necessary. We have a crisis in the judiciary and it's incumbent upon the Trump adm and GOP Congress to address it.
Tucker is right! You are the best reporter with regards to J6 by far. It's not even close. With so much going on right now I can always count on you fir accurate and timely reporting. Thank you, Julie. ❤️✨️💖
Thank you, Brian! I was very grateful for Tucker's shout out last week. Hoping to do his show soon--he asked me to last week but I could not get to FLA so hopefully within the next few weeks!
HAHAHA Pete--and he accused me yesterday of copying his (unreadable) piece on 1512c2. But I do love his former clients coming out now and saying what a lying grifting fraud he is!
I wouldn't know about the accusations, he blocked me from X & even refunded my Substack subscription so I couldn't post anymore!
Good to hear he's being exposed by his former clients.
(But you'll never be as good as you could be until you learn to spell Arthur Andersen (it's Swedish, not English. I was a tax manager from 79-85, I know.)
Those prosecutors and judges should be disbarred, charged, prosecuted and jailed. They should have to forfeit all of their assets and any finances. Every J6 person and their families should be awarded many thousands of dollars
It appears that 18 U.S.C. 1512(c)(2) could be applied to the members of the J6 Select Committee if it is true that Cheney engaged in witness tampering in the case of Cassidy Hutchinson and whoever was responsible for the destruction of the deposition video recordings. I'm sure there are other coverups and destruction of records, documents, and objects comprising the investigation that are consistent with Justice Robert's decision. I think we could also add the conspiracy to defraud the United States and conspiracy against rights to the crimes involved. The central problem is it will be very difficult to convict any judge, attorney, congressman, and perjurer no matter the evidence of wrongdoing, as it is clear that the political left has firmly adopted a Jim Crow style of prerogative justice. The flip side to the outrageous J6 convictions is jury nullification.
No doubt about it, Daniel, which is why Biden pardoned ALL of them including staff members. Without question, numerous crimes were committed. I do think the new subcommittee under Judiciary Committee will continue digging and call those pardoned individuals to testify.
Julie ... thanks for the detailed updates as always. There are rumors of one or more J6 defendants
not being released as ordered by Trump's pardon. Supposedly they are being bounced around from one jail to another to make tracking them very difficult... any truth to that? Also... supposedly one J6 defendant was released only to be re-arrested immediately on new charges? Is that true?
The prosecutors definitely feel the heat and are lawyering up. The judges feel impervious to any accountability, which is why they continue to do what they do. Until they do feel pain--professional and personal--they will continue to behave this way.
I've heard same info that edkronholm mentions in his comment.
J6ers may have been pardoned but the battle continues.
Listening to Durbin badger Patel in today's hearing regarding the legislative branch narrative on J6 my thought is the fight must continue to get truth out.
Jan 6,2021 was an assault perpetrated on the American citizen by the players who live out their life in DC. The American citizen is the true victim of Jan 6, 2021 not the legislators and government employees who live in DC .
I wasn't a Q aficionado (thought it too good to be true, possible psyop). But one of its phrases is sounding pretty good right about now: "The hunters become the hunted."
Hi Julie - Steve Bannon and WR is a fave. Alas, I still have a "day job" so am resigned to having to watch clips on Rumble in the evening (including your appearances, which are default "must see").
In about a year I am retiring from that job, and am looking forward to having morning coffee with War Room AND having more time to write/post content on my Substack.
For me the worse part of the j6 narrative is saying the people were violent. That did not occur until the police shot tear gas on them when it was made to be used outside. At that point people were pushed to act out but the violence label might be used against the police. Roseanne Boylin getting beat while unconscious. Please somebody tell the real story
Stephanie, the police brutality that day is not only the most underreported story by the media but intentionally covered up by the judges. Jurors were not allowed to see evidence of police first attacking protesters--which might have swayed the view of very progressive anti-police juries in DC. All we can do now is keep getting those videos and stories in front of the public.
One of the most egregious failures on J6th was the lack of an order to disperse given by the police to the crowd. This is standard policy and procedure for police in riot/crowd control situations. The order is usually given multiple times before any force is used, especially with a crowd that is non-violent. Many in the crowd would have dispersed when told force would be used if they did not. The order to disperse was never given and the police fired into the peaceful crowd using flash bangs, rubber bullets and tear gas. Yes, the police were greatly outnumbered and overwhelmed, but the outcome could have been so much better if they had used good police tactics.
I do hope Pam Bondi or Kash get to the bottom of who ordered the police to use force and they are held accountable.
A quote from Tucker Carlson’s recent interview of Matt Taibbi:
“I agree. Well you saw that with Julie Kelly, on January 6th, Julie Kelly…I don’t even know what she did before…she’s purely kind of creation of the Internet, well she’s a self-creation, but she, her medium was the Internet, and X specifically, and she just got mad about January 6th and just RELENTLESSLY focused on that. I’m sure she’s got other opinions, but she only did that. I mean, man, this ONE WOMAN…I think she’s my age, ish, and unearthed all this information that was NO ONE ELSE GOT IT, except her, cause she was just SO FOCUSED ON THIS THING.”
Very kind of Tucker. And yes this is what I tell young journalists when I am asked--don't follow the shiny objects everyone else is covering. Identify a niche and work hard every day to develop that story line. It may take time to get attention to your work but dedication and diligence (usually) pays off.
Disheartening and depressing to learn of these DOJ actions. Best of luck to Mr. Martin in putting those responsible in jail, after a long trial to bankrupt them, like he did to so many innocent people. I just wish we could include Garland.
He is very determined, Roy. He worked with J6ers and sat on the board for the Patriot Freedom Project so he is very familiar with the abuses and the human toll.
Thanks, James! It failed and backfired--and now the truth is coming out. Biggest deception in US history, all to cover up for the stolen 2020 election. Lots of moving parts to this.
Thank you for your outstanding reporting, especially on this issue, Julie. Please stay on this until all the corrupt judges, prosecutors, public (and paid) defenders, Fed assets, et.al. are fully exposed and brought to justice!

Thank you, Vandy! Much more to tell and I hope Congress does its part in allowing J6ers to tell their stories to the American people.
I hope that the new DOJ investigation and the new J6 congressional investigation repeatedly haul every one of those DOJ staff and DC judges before them and a grand jury.. Nah, according to one corrupt defense counsel with a crew of wrecked ships, she's a mediocre food blogger with a PACER account. ❤️

Could not agree more, Carolyn. All we can do is continue to highlight the abuse and hope the Trump DOJ/Congress steps up and does the right thing.
You left out: held in the DC Gulag in pretrial detention.
Those they persecuted should be allowed to sit as jurors and/or serve as jailers.

My understanding is they remain detained on other nonrelated charges. This could be addressed soon.
Thanks... please stay on this developing story...
Hold every last prosecutor and judge accountable. Time for pain to be inflicted on them.
The prosecutors definitely feel the heat and are lawyering up. The judges feel impervious to any accountability, which is why they continue to do what they do. Until they do feel pain--professional and personal--they will continue to behave this way.
No recourse available?

The criminals that designed and inflicted this FEDSURRECTION SCAM, attempting to emasculate the MAGA movement, FAILED.
They must be brought to justice for their crimes. There must be restitution for the J6 patriot-victims. WE THE PEOPLE are waiting.
Thank you Julie Kelly.
