“In fact, the entire “Capitol Siege” investigation, as the DOJ calls it, represents an egregious example of selective prosecution since no other group of political protesters in U.S. history has been subjected to the type of federal charges levied against J6ers.”

I’m so stoked that Matt Gaetz was named AG. Finally those of us who have been lied to and lied about will have an administration that believes our version of what actually happened on J6. My husband and I are law-abiding patriotic grandparents who have been victimized by the current DOJ. I just hope we live long enough to see justice delivered. Everyone who lied on an arrest warrant should be charged, for starters. Most of us who agreed to deals knew the only other option was to be put through a show trial in DC that we had 100% chance of losing. We’d be left completely broke and imprisoned for years instead of semi-broke and recieving significantly less jail time.

I am posting clip of Gaetz calling J6 a fedsurrection, defending J6ers, and condemning the prosecution and DC gulag. He is as solid on this issue as they come. That's why they don't want him to take over.

I hope a full account of what REALLY happened on J6 is recorded for posterity. Broadcast to every outlet and school. Especially the government’s involvement. And the aftermath of persecution of patriots. No due process. A horror. All citizens, even those in grade school, need to know what was done to us.

No,it should not have happened but the one thing I tell my children and grandchildren: “The best things that happen in life initially look like the worst thing that has ever happened, at least in the beginning. Know that challenges are an opportunity to be a better person.

I had an opportunity to explain this to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, now famous for his joke about Puerto Rico, and Jordan Peterson on my most recent Kill Tony appearance at Joe Rogan’s Comedy Mothership. January 6th has caused a lot of pain in my family, emotionally and financially, but I have also had opportunities I never dreamed of. Life is what you make of it:

You sound like a Texan. Back home in California my husband and I receive hateful and threatening anonymous letters, accusing us of “insurrection”. In Texas when people find out I was at the Capitol in support of Election Integrity on J6 they almost always respond with “Thank you for your service”. I have yet to be called names or get anonymous hate mail here in Texas.

Either way I can handle whatever comes my way. I am a “tough old broad”. It’s how my son came to give me the name “Granny Snakebite”. It is also how my dear friend Kinky Friedman would introduce me at Echo Hill Gold Star Camp. The kids at camp and staff usually just call me Granny, but my family, friends and neighbors call me “Snakebite”.

If Matt Gaetz gets confirmed that would be a great outcome. It took months before we even knew who killed Ashli.

I just looked up all of the senators that voted to confirm Merrick Garland, of course loser Romney was one-but for those who are still in office, outside out King (I), the republicans are as follows-and please remember ALL of their names, as many of them are up for reelection in 2026. Capito, Cassidy, Collins, Ernst, Moran, McConnell, Graham, Johnson, Lankford, McConnell, Moran, Murkowski, Rounds, Tillis, AND Thune.

If these people were willing to vote for that fraud Garland, if they truly love AMerica they'll vote for Gaetz.

Just because an accusation has been made that doesn't make it TRUE.

Russia, Russia, Russia. 34 counts, and so on.

They promoted the coward LT. Michael Byrd to Captain.

https://ground.news/article/capitol-police-officer-michael-byrd-who-shot-ashli-babbitt-promoted-to-captain

He was a hero for shooting a woman in the neck who was stuck in a window. Big tough guy known for misplacing his gun-

https://rollcall.com/2019/02/27/capitol-police-weapon-left-unattended-in-capitol-bathroom-again/

-could have winged her in the leg or ran to her and brought out handcuffs. She was a sitting duck. Her actions were wrong, but Byrd took it too far.

I'm surprised he didn't get a fire extinguisher and hit her in the head.

The videos that I have seen do not show Byrd giving any sort of warning to Ashli Babbitt, which of course is standard law enforcement procedure. As I have already posted below, my working theory is that Byrd emotionally murdered Babbitt because a white woman jilted him in his past. Trump needs to cause this murder to be investigated.

Good reporting, Julie. There has to be an AUDIT of Smith. Reports are, over $50 Million has been spent by him in his so-called "special investigations". Everything needs to be examined. Right down to how much has been spent on food, travel, lodging... you name it. How many attorneys has he hired? What about investigators? I personally think that $50 Million, if that is correct; is absolutely ridiculous. Some of it was spent after Judge Cannon threw out the case, apparently. With the election sweep, Congress needs to clarify what, if any; special investigator roles of our DOJ still apply. Then, if necessary; Congress can always write new law.

I'm losing my Congressman in Gaetz. I've voted for him every time he's name has been before me.

I do have two cautions though. First, as a former legislator, he needs to appoint deputies with administrative experience in the Executive Branch. Second, while I think he will personify "Energy" in the Executive, he should be reminded that Justice and deterrence are his duty, not zealotry nor vengeance. Always, "crime" first, then find the criminal.

That said, Garland seems guilty of misusing government funds in paying Jack Smith and his crew. He had no appropriations for a "special counsel" not confirmed by the Senate paid with moneys not appropriated in his budget.

As much as we should reject Beria's methods, the one man I would most love to see behind bars is Marc Elias.

While we're at it, let's impeach and replace a few of the DC judges!
