The Supreme Court vacated Jeb Boasberg's orders banning the deportation of illegals covered by the Alien Enemies Act. But that's not the end of Boasberg's crusade to prove the Trump adm wrong.
There is no defending this. And offering her signature to the diabolical rant by Sotomayor makes it all the worse. It's shameful we are stuck with ACB for the next 30-40 years.
There may have to be a full on Constitutional crisis over the exercise of our President’s authority on matters of security and interpretation of law as it originates in the powers vested in the Executive Branch by the Constitution.
We have just been through four years of virtually unfettered disregard for the security and prosperity of our Republic in the unprecedented aiding and abetting of illegal aliens pouring over our borders, setting the conditions of further violation of law and order meant to protect CITIZENS from predatory criminal activity on the personal level as well as protection of civic society from predatory partisan interference in local institutions and services. The flooding of census data with newcomers meant to throw voting districts into redefined representative areas, known as jerrymandering, is something unscrupulous political operatives have been doing to overwhelm opposition — using these schemes to destroy the republican system our country has been built upon. These practices, on full blast since the Democrats, who see their power in majority blocks of voters, by whatever means possible — obviously including planting illegal aliens in areas that might be overweighted by just enough to qualify for a change in ‘demographics’, assuring a majority of voters for their policies, may be customary in organic development of districts. But NOT when a new majority is planted by targeted infusion of a district with surreptitiously imported immigrants without legal status by virtue of an overwhelming invasion, without the approval and acceptance of the American people officially or personally.
This has been a color revolution coup, with these illegal policies forced upon us by the inversion of law and order meant to protect American taxpayers and citizens, not place them under extreme duress and danger.
The judges seeking to protect the illegality of what we have endured for the last four years are integral with the partisan predators who have promoted this coup against us individually, and against our Constitutional Republic collectively.
The best analogy on the upper scale of this coup is what our ‘betters’ have promoted in the exaltation of China to Most Favored Nation status, placing our economy almost beyond revival, and the average American ‘behind the 8-ball.’
We’re experiencing the effects of the coup without the ‘kinetic’ version of the war at this moment. If the predatory regime and class that has perpetrated this coup on us did not have a keen sense of self preservation, we would already be fully engaged in a civil war. Wasn’t it during the Obama regime that ammunition was used as the limiting factor in the suppression of 2nd Amendment rights?
Smell the coffee.
Add up the numbers.
Take a close look at the future you’re offered, or force fed.
Trump offers a shot at free agency.
The radical Left and Rino’s have been busily pelletizing your agency, w freedom to accept only their version, no free agency options.
This is no time for complacency.
If we want a future worthy of the name, NOW is the time to be BOLD. Our enemies have been.
I find it ironic that ACB thought the DOJ appropriately applied 1512c2 in Jan 6 cases and that did not violate their due process rights but here she claims the president was out of line in activating AEA against illegal gang bangers. That is quite the mindset.
Leftists like to refer to the Court as having six conservative justices and three liberal ones. In reality, the Court is better divided into three groups. A conservative one consisting of Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch most of the time. A leftist group consisting of Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson. And a group resembling weather vanes that swing in the wind consisting of Roberts, Barrett, and Kavanaugh.
I claim to have always appreciated good writing. My personal issue is that I (obviously) have an ADHD problem which predisposes me to believe it necessary to establish credibility practically every step (or sentence) of the way. Which of course means run-on, paragraphs long sentences — anathema to the best writing. The more closely reasoned a point is, the more lean it should be.
Thank you for the direct, sharp assessment of my rambling thoughts to a great “fix.” 🤔
In a few words, you make me appreciate good writing again, the art of cutting through the noise to the point. Then a smile to boot. Thanks for real.
I see your point--and I guess she thought she could once again please the harpies and the Left without actually deciding the outcome. But she is trouble.
Yeah, but she didn't read 50 U.S. Code § 21 and 3 USC 301 and Trump's proclamation or she couldn't have. He made it clear the invasion authorized him to remove them.
I genuinely admire Barret as a good person- one that doesn't just talk the talk, but who makes sacrifices in her own life to help others.
That said, I have to wonder, does her do-goodery make her unfit to administer the law as written? Women have a soft spot in their heart for every sad story. Yeah, the people who have their case before her may be receiving unjust treatment. There's always a story to tell that says they are.
But what about the others who are hurt by the lawbreakers? Just my opinion- it's easy for suburban wine moms to forget about the victims hidden in the background, out of sight.
Travis, I am not sure what they can do. Of course, I would love to see impeachments but now that Congress thinks this is settled for now, I doubt there is any more momentum. They will sit on their hands until the next crisis, do some Fox interviews, write some letters, and wish it away.
Julie I think since this judge is purposely ignoring SCOTUS then the Administration should ignore this judge. Continually giving him justification is the per verbal keep doing the same thing with the same results is useless! I am frankly tired of my tax dollars funding this fiasco. I agree with other posters CONGRESS NEEDS TO GET BUSY!
Congress can pull his jurisdiction, impeach, and/or strip funding for DC circuit.
I do not see that happening outside of some threats made on Fox. Republicans simply do not know how to exercise political power when they have it--creating more serious problems for the future. These rogue judges are not in the least bit worried a GOP Congress will do anything to punish their bad behavior.
While not court related, I know I've sent my member of congress, and both senators, no less than ten (10) ideas to help raise money to pay down the national debt that won't cost the taxpayer a cent.
Nothing.
Ignoring constituent ideas creates ZERO dollars in profit. And by making ZERO dollars how many of the 12 ZEROs in 36,000,000,000,000 are able to be removed? A quick math calculation shows ZERO.
It is amazing that people feel Congress can only do one thing at a time. As long as we settle for that and don’t demand more from our representatives then that is all we will get! They can defund the court and that’s what they need to do. I have contacted my representatives.
Projection is powerful in so many of these liberals!
How can you ‘violate’ an order on a case that has been judged to have been brought in the wrong jurisdiction and whose written rulings have been vacated?
(Did Roberts intentionally leave out the oral ‘order’ from his actions?)
The DOJ did not consider the "oral ruling" valid so it was not addressed in the emergency motion for relief. But it IS projection for Boasberg to accuse the Trump adm of acting in "bad faith" when he's the one doing so all along.
No legal expert, but isn’t the only requirement on ICE is to prove that the detainee is in this country illegally. If so they have every right to deport them regardless if they are a gang member or not. An illegal does not have the same due process rights of a legal citizen. Why does the court believe we should grant these rights to non-citizens? This is as crazy as giving illegals free education, free health care, free lodging and signing them up for Medicaid and Social Security benefits. Agree with other comments that Congress needs to get busy and stop wasting time on whether a new mother can vote from home….who cares.
I agree. The gang member stuff is secondary although it does speak to threat to community. However--we need to remove the illegals brought here over the past four years who were not vetted and, to add insult to injury, cost of billions to support. A no brainer.
Yes, we have immigration laws via the INA with its own statutes and Immigration judges, so that even using district courts for matters that other specialized courts are expert in seems to duplicate resources.
Illegals don’t possess the same due process rights as citizens, but the rights that are due to illegals, like habeas corpus (getting to appear before a judge to make his case. No jury. No speedy trial, etc.
👆 exactly, but these aren't run of the mill, these are deemed terrorists, so habeas corpus is even questionable. It should have been 9-0 and without back to jurisdiction of detainment for these dudes.
Okay Congress you created this monster now fix it, if you choose not to fix this we will take care of this ourselves by getting rid of you. Your inaction will result in our action of voting you out!!
Thank you! And yes the TROs are vacated so they can begin deportations although SCOTUS warned about due process and habeas rights. So my guess is deportations under AEA will commence with some sort of procedure that allows the illegals to dispute association with TdA? That's my guess I am not sure.
My understanding is he can resume as long as from here on out the illegal terrorists are provided due process in the jurisdiction where they are detained. The insanity in this is that ICE has their own courts for illegal aliens, so I'm not sure how it came to be that District Court Judges outside of DOJ otherwise make decisions on these cases.
If he thinks he can do that it is easily taken care of. The point of the ruling is he never had jurisdiction over any of it so his orders are meaningless. But, if he wants to embarrass himself go ahead.
Boasberg does not think he's embarrassing himself--which of course he is--he believes he's the hero here and is enjoying all the love and attention (like the hilarious WSJ hagiography) in the process.
Time for this judge to be charged with insurrection and treason. Now! Not later. Illegals have no rights under the constitution! PERIOD! Have these "judges" ever read the constitution???? Much less teach false laws to students
The SC rendered themselves irrelevant a long time ago. Now they are just showing their irrelevance to American citizens. The left is probably already judge shopping in Tx. and the ACLU will file their no persons named lawsuit there. The SC is completely spineless and worthless to us in upholding the Constitution.
Yep, that is the question. Why didn't he include his command to return planes in the 7:26pm minute order on the docket? Planes were still in the air. Maybe he realized how stupid it would look--or maybe he was betting on confusion that would later be turned into "contempt" accusations.
They aren't, he just wants them to be, because he missed the written timing by +45 minutes of the planes being gone. He's just trying to go there because he wants contempt charges on Trump Admin by HIM.
Thank you Julie. At least we finally have some clarification from SCOTUS on proper jurisdiction. The court made clear that these DC judges cannot designate jurisdiction to themselves and take over these cases. Hopefully, in the future the lot of them will prefer not to embarrassingly “Boasburg” themselves. But of course they are not self reflective enough for that which will give you plenty more work to do. Appreciate your vigilance and excellent reporting.
Thank you, Elizabeth! Boasberg knew all along DC was the improper venue but he didn't care. He had almost a solid month to impose his will, sabotage the president, and make contempt allegations. He got what he wanted!
I think that the Supreme Court said nothing about his oral ruling might of been hung out because it has no language of true law. Which he probably will find out later to end his probable cause. 🇺🇸⚖️🇺🇲USA 🇺🇸
Thank u Miss JULIE KELLY 🇺🇲 for this hard Report ⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️🦅🇺🇲✝️🔥❤️🤍💙🌹
Judge Barrett has turned out to be a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Communist in conservative clothing. There I fixed it for you.:)
I quite agree. She's even worse than Roberts.
I find it ironic that ACB thought the DOJ appropriately applied 1512c2 in Jan 6 cases and that did not violate their due process rights but here she claims the president was out of line in activating AEA against illegal gang bangers. That is quite the mindset.
And all the girls on the court agree. This is why we can never have a woman President, they are too much emotion, not enough thinking.
Grew up with 3 brothers, no sisters, maybe thats where my opinion on women comes from.

Thank you Brother.

I plead guilty to indulging in pop psychology here.
This parody photo in Babylon Bee is, to me, telling. That is, the non-parody part, the part that's real.

"Onetime Yale basketball player" 🤣😅😁
You know in his case, I'd say it figures.
Broadly, Yale basketball program/teams suck compared to the best of the best in college basketball.
Seems sort of fitting to go from Yale basketball player to activist judge - Inconsequential to inconsequential.
You, on the other hand Julie, keep up the great work @Julie !!! 💪
Haha, good point! And my guess is he was only on the team because he's so tall, not because he's good.
