Finally we have a President who takes action on behalf of AshLi Babbitt. Feels good to have a President who actually represents the American people πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Hard to believe that Garland was fighting this case. He was too busy paying off Andrew McCabe who should have been in jail instead of getting checks from the taxpayers.

The problem with Garland is that he is evil.

I wear my personally crafted "RIP Ashli" teeshirt with sadness, yet pride. She gave it all for us, shot thru a small gap in a door, plus thru a second door glass. She had no eyes on the shooter, let alone threatened him or whom he claimed to be protecting. Watch the video. Ashli Babbitt was deliberatlely and coward-ily murdered by a man in hiding. Michael Byrd got a medal and a pension. He does not deserve to live off our taxes. In fact..........

Any law enforcement officer knows she was β€œillegally” shot. That had to be an inside job.

I just wish we could get Ashli back. She deserved the opposite of what happened.

There will be no justice until her killer, the cowardly officer who hid behind a door, is made accountable.

Thanks for this update, Julie. All I can say is that in the best of all possible worlds Michael Byrd would and should be in prison for murder, if not manslaughter. I'm really hopeful that President Trump's administration will seek an indictment for this killer regardless of the non-action taken by the previous DOJ.

Exactly! I’m all for compensating the family but those responsible must be held accountable.

That is correct: he may have been scared, but was not in real danger. Nor was he, at that time, protecting any one who was in danger. He was weak, a coward, and maybe even racist. He had no business being a cop and has not reason to be promoted in that role. Unnecessary Hysteria is not a promotable trait.

It is good that this is finally moving in the right direction but I have a sense of sadness that it took this long. They cannot compensate for how she was murdered, carried out of the building, and then not given a veteran's funeral. I also don't understand why cremation occurred in these cases, (Babbitt and Boyland) Any thoughts?

In aβ€”God forbidβ€”Harris administration, the DoJ would have taken the case to court. Garland had already switched venue from Babbitt's San Diego to DC, 95 percent of whose jury pool voted against Trump and in which city no jury acquitted a J6er. Now let's do Rosanne Boyland.

Thanks for the update Julie. Of all the atrocities committed against innocent American citizens on that awful day, the murder of Ashli is right at the top. The settlement, however large or small, is at least recognition that something very wrong was done that day.

OK, that one is heading in the right direction. The DOJ still needs to open up a CRIMINAL investigation on that disgrace of a LEO. And, and I close with two words..TINA PETERS. That situation is beyond a DISGRACE !!!

Evidently you live on another planet. I watched live videos taken by people who were there. Not the lies of the government and the media. So much more needs revealing. The Truth has still not been told.

Call me crazy-but I think Tucker Carlson's firing had more to do with his showing the J6 videos than Dominion.

Indeed it did, along with his open criticism of our financing the Ukrainian war with no oversight of where the money was going.

Ukrainian pensions, runway shows with models. Possible kickbacks to those in congress who were so into sending them money-unchecked.
