Disgraceful attention seeker. Perhaps she's auditioning to be the next TV judge. I'm just going to say it, but I've had enough of these so called "strong, women of color" bitch slapping their way across the legislative and judicial scene. I'm sick of it, and offended, as a woman myself. They're denigrate all of us in their quest to be the tough guy.

Cara Wakefield is correct in noting the "disgraceful attention seeker." However, it is much deeper than that. Take Judge Juan Merchan as an example. He presided over the DA Alvin Bragg prosecution of Donald Trump. He knew that Bragg had hijacked the trial by permitting extrajudicial publicity against Trump through the New York Times and the so-called insider account of Trump's guilt through the publishing house of Simon and Schuster. The aim in doing it was to extrajudicially influence the jury to get a guilty verdict. All of this was disbarment level professional misconduct committed by Bragg's office and Merchan made sure that that illicit activity was covered up. Here is a newsletter, published just four days ago that documents this. It is entitled: "This is the Professional Conduct that the Supreme Court Buried. It is the Record of New York DA Alvin Bragg. Part Four." Here is the link: https://therunnymedereport.substack.com/p/this-is-the-professional-misconduct-4e2?r=3tdx2w

"Judge" Chutkan approaches this case with an obvious bias against President Trump. Yes; I recognize that he is not the current President. However, he was when the events being explored in this case took place, and his position at the time influences the outcome of this case.

I have never seen a case where a judge is doing as much as possible to have a case result in a reversal. It shows a complete lack of integrity and faithfulness to the law. But then she has the gall to say that the Supreme Court's guidance is "subject to many different readings".

Like, how big is that pile of 0bama that she wallows in for her to make a statement that moronic?

Just like "Judge" Juan Merchan, she is trying to rush a case through without any respect for the applicable law.

Too bad she was such a mediocre dancer.

This is a great quote from Kevin Beck. "Judge Chutkan approaches this case with an obvious bias against President Trump." And then, "It shows a complete lack of integrity and faithfulness to the law." Yes the judge is required to be neutral and not biased. And yes, it shows a complete lack of integrity and faithfulness to the law." However, there is a much bigger layer of dishonesty involved here. Integrity and faithfulness is the foundation of the entire practice of law of the prosecutors, the state bar associations and the judges who oversee both. The complete lack of integrity and faithfulness to the law as governed by the rules of professional conduct were tossed out the window in the New York DA Alvin Bragg prosecution of Trump.

The trial judge oversaw this corruption with the illicit help of the state bar association in New York. Here's how it was done as documented in a newsletter, published just four days ago.

As long as she plays at being rogue, tearing down our judicial system, we need to know everything. Defund and shut down the entire DC circuit.

Make it clear that all affected personnel can only be rehired after proof that they were not complicit in the ludicrous injustice dished out under their administrations. And their rehire should be subject to 66% approval of J6 misdemeanor convicts.

This is an incredibly fantastic quote: "Shut down the DC federal courthouse, the DC US attorney's office, and the Washington FBI field office. The axis of evil."

There are layers upon layers of this axis of evil that are protected by the news media.

We can consider the state bar associations: They are viewed, through the lens of the news media, as "sacred cows." They are never subject to audit. They are never subject to review of any kind by anyone, especially the judiciary. The reality is the opposite of this perception. If they intentionally fail to prosecute offenders, such as in the Trump illicit prosecutions, they themselves are required to be disbarred. So, going back to Julie Kelly's comment: These offices also need to be "shut down." Then we can get back to restoring the republic the way it is supposed to be.

This is a great quote from Pete Healey: "Make it clear that all affected personnel can only be rehired after proof that they were not complicit in the ludicrous injustice dished out under their administrations." This is not a radical idea. But it goes much deeper. The entire legal profession is governed by rules of professional conduct. It too needs a complete overhaul. The rules say that any judge, any prosecutor, any state bar association, any lawyer, who has information brought to his or her attention that disbarment worthy professional misconduct is afoot is required to report it so it doesn't happen again (if they don't report they themselves are guilty of professional misconduct. And yet widespread misconduct is occurring through our prosecutors who remove fair trial rights of politically targeted defendants. Here is a newsletter, published in May, which documents how these rules work. It is entitled: "How the American Judiciary Became Utterly Dishonest." Here is the link: https://therunnymedereport.substack.com/p/how-the-american-judiciary-became-8c2?r=3tdx2w Despite the clear requirements of the rules of professional misconduct this cabal went all out against Trump in the New York DA Alvin Bragg prosecution against Trump. Excellent work. Yes, the legal profession has tumbled down a steep slope into corruption. My experience taught me that the system, including major dispute resolution providers such as FINRA, has crumbled. (For example, I was shocked at the ease with which FINRA executives were willing to perjure themselves in a Federal Court in order to avoid responsibility for their actions. And they are supposed to be in charge of helping others resolve legal disputes!) My observation is that the "ethics" portions of classes in law schools focus on "what can I get away with" rather than instilling ethical character. Zealous advocacy (including pursuit of political goals) has become the jungle norm. I've worked with amazing judges, but also have now come to see the incompetence and bias of the bench at this time. It would seem we should require additional training before seating someone on the bench; perhaps we should require completion of an LLM focused on jurisprudence.

astounding judicial malpractice

This a great comment by david. In the traditional legal sense, malpractice can be either negligent, reckless or intentional. When it comes to the judiciary, they fall in the category of intentional malpractice. They know better and wilfully and intentionally assure that the corruption continues. One of the great deceptions is that are only governed by the judicial ethics rules which decidedly have no bite to them. What does have bite are the rules of professional conduct that govern all lawyers, prosecutors, state bar associations and judges.

If they intentionally break the rules they need to be prosecuted by means of disbarment from the practice of law. Here is a great breakdown illustrating this corruption in action all the way up to the Supreme Court. It is in a newsletter, published just four days ago. It is entitled: This is the Professional Misconduct that the Supreme Court Buried. It is the Record of New York

DC Goodman makes a great point about the rotten state of corruption in New York. Judge Merchan presided over a corrupt trial against Trump. But the corruption is much deeper than

suspected. The entire foundation of our legal system was overthrown in this prosecution,

not in the absurd legal theories brought by Bragg and accepted by Merchan, but rather the

overthrow of the defendant's right to be presumed innocent and his right to have a fair and impartial trial. DA Alvin Bragg office prosecuted the case through the New York Times and the publishing house of Simon and Schuster in a tell-all book against Trump. How corrupt was it?

It broke a central tenet of the rules of professional conduct. The prosecutor is forbidden from telling the public about the case outside of the judicial process. It's disbarment stuff. Yet, the entire judicial process starting with Judge Juan Merchan, extending up through the judicial chain and covered up the Grievance Committee of the Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court perpetrated this gross abuse of the Fifth and the Sixth Amendment. What do the rules of professional conduct say? All involved must need be disbarred. Here is a newsletter, published just four days ago, that documents this travesty, which screams for massive removals. It is entitled "This is the Professional Misconduct that the Supreme Court Buried. It is the Record of New York DA Alvin Bragg. Part Four." (Can't read this without wondering how the Ship will try to criticize it for irrelevant reasons, once again... Kinda pisses me off he's infiltrated my thought process when reading your excellent work!)

But one minor nit to pick, Julie... Your conclusion is shortsighted.

There will be no "additional scrutiny" this case is done, kaput, over yet...

This is Smith/Chutkan's play...

The case is only being held together by duct tape piano wire and paste for another few chances to allow Smith a chance to present unsubstantiated but damning evidence to be presented in her courtroom for the Presstitutes to use to further defame PDJT.

Come 11/5, no one will care anymore. Either the case gets dismissed under the new DOJ or the fraudulent winners no longer have a reason to pursue the case, they will have achieved their goal.

(Lest you doubt me, Ship's penultimate post did a great job of clarifying - without stating - this factoid)

Expand full comment
Julie Kelly's avatar

If Harris wins, they will pursue this case. I wouldn't be surprised if Smith seeks another superseding indictment after the election to add more charges based on Trump's post-election conduct. My point is that the case ultimately dies not because a Harris DOJ will give up but because scrutiny by DC appellate court in Fischer and another SCOTUS review of existing elements in indictment won't hold.

Don't know what Shipley said about this...

Expand full comment
The Runnymede Report's avatar

This is a great point, Julie Kelly. While they focus on going after Trump's post-election "conduct" the lure is too great for no one to look at the professional conduct of the

judiciary, the state bar associations and the prosecutors. We need to get the word out.

These institutions will continue their "axis of evil" until a knowledgeable and informed citizenry sees the corruption and is willing to put the pressure on to demand the removals. It is deeper than anticipated. We have 197 accredited law schools across the country led by Lawyer Deans and Lawyer Law professors who foundationally teach the importance of the Constitution's guarantees of a fair trial for an accused. Yet when Trump's rights are destroyed in the DA Bragg prosecution they had nothing to say.

The logical question: then why are they employed?

This is a great point made by desmond oneill in bringing things back to England. It is widely known that the apex of western civilization is the Magna Carta. At the center of it is the doctrine of due process. The U.S. thought it was important enough to incorporate its tenets in the Fifth and Sixth Amendments of the U.S. Constitution. That's called fair trial rights. So our prosecutors, judges and state bar associations have pushed the doctrine out of the way to fulfill political objectives. Worse, the news media has, through smoke and mirrors, convinced the American people that these rights don't even exist. Proof: Here is a newsletter, published four days ago, that documents this. As usual Julie, such a great article!

As a teacher of students with a myriad of ability levels (multiple disabilities, normal, autism, syndromes galore) I am pretty versed in recognizing someone who just wants reinforcement (negative or positive doesn't matter with them) because they just want any kind of attention. And I see that in Chutkan, through your experience of her. And now I also see just a bit of a sister-hood with Kamala Harris in the Jamaica connection. And then there's that proliferative arrogance that perspirates from every pore of her skin. And that too was evident from the constantly lying and perceived psychological baiting performance from that inimitable sister, Kamala, at the recent debate. Whell actually it was a deliberate set up "GOTCHA" interview of 3 on 1, a couple of days ago of harris, linsey and muir against Donald J. Trump!

It's pretty obvious that ALL of the players for Kamala and the conglomerate Demo crowd of deception machine tactical maneuver opposition are spewing the same game plan, albeit with inclement lies a plenty! And THAT SCRIPT has been employed for an inordinately long number of beyond 10 years.

I must say, the Deep State's deep state playbook is not only maddening but the level of depravity it produces takes similar twists and turns but also increasingly uglier presentations that bring deeper disgust that convinces me to not even begin to change my mind of total negativity toward the opposition.
