Outstanding job of connecting the dots, Julie!👍👍 With any luck there will be tens of thousands of these leftist haters being cancelled, fired, incarcerated, bankrupted, etc. While Charlie would probably object to such tactics, it seems that as a nation, drastic measures are needed to stop the flow of hate and intolerance that is mushrooming on the left. It does feel like this horrifying Kirk execution and the nauseating outpouring of supportive hate from the left may well bring about the end of the Democratic Party. Anyone with a shred of common sense or decency should be abandoning the party, leaving no one but the lunatics in the poisonous party.

Thank you! This is the best way to immediately confront this evil. They want to set the rules but object when we follow them. Those days are over.

Democrats don't a shred of common sense or decency. They hate Trump, God, Liberty, capitalism, the constitution . . .

Indeed - the list of things and people they hate is a long one. I suspect I’d find my name there if I cared to look.

Thanks for this piece, Julie. Several trendy phrases come to mind. To whit: karma's gonna getcha': payback's a bitch; what goes around comes around' and, as the Bard said, "hoist on their own petard.. It's about damned time that the radical lefties get a dose of their own medicine, don't ya' think?

All of the above, Karlan! And I think it's way past time. They never thought we would rise up like this and use their own tactics against them.

Julie, can you find out what the U.S. Government intentions are for reparations for the J6ers? It's been long in the waiting and nothing has been said. Do the J6ers need to initiate claims on their own or is something forthcoming from the U.S. Government in acknowledgement of the violations against them? I assume that the statute of limitations (2 years for the FTCA) continues with each individual denial of the J6 setup and/or slur that is stated by a politician? Can you please find out the path J6ers are expected to take to get their financial lives back in order. This madness in the country has resulted in PTSD even for extended J6er families who need to cope.

I do not know the plan, Jaci. I think there are internal discussions about what to do particularly those convicted of minor nonviolent offenses or the unlawful 1512c2. Congress just authorized a new J6 subcommittee so perhaps they will address compensation? I just don't know at this point.

Fired up Julie is my favorite Julie. It’s the teachers and the military folks that boggle my mind. There is seemingly no understanding of who their audience is or the responsibility they owe their employer. The anesthesiologist? You’d have to scrub all your social media before going under so he doesn’t decide you’re not worth keeping alive.

I agree that "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” Get new faces in there from time to time. New blood. Half of our congress need a blood transfusion (age related) and most of the rest are tyrants. What have they done for YOU lately. They take care of themselves-paying themselves for life after they leave office. And they talk about a $36,000,000,000,000 national debt and discontinuing the one cent coin. How about stop paying these slugs after they leave office?

https://www.coinbooks.org/v26/esylum_v26n43a12.html scroll down to the bottom for Liberty vs Tryanny.

After Jan 6 the constitution for used as a spare roll of Charmin and the majority of republicans didn't seem offended. They weren't the Alpha male, the Beta, the Charlie, Delta, Echo or Foxtrot, they were the 'G' GUTLESS!

You can't say anything in this country if it isn't 'leftist' approved.

Charlie Kirk was going to colleges-perhaps he should have gone to grade schools where the indoctrination begins. By the time they get to college, boys already think they're girls and girls already think they're boys.

There are plenty of people that I don't want to listen to, the always 'happy' Rosie O'Donnell comes to mind, but I know how to hit the mute button or change the channel. She can say what she wants. I suspect she's the only one believing it. And some of these people are either just plain stupid with the things they say (Jen Psaki) or they sold out for the money to say what they're told to say. I heard part of her show a couple of weeks back, after dateline went off early in the morning, and I know she can't believe a word of what she was saying. After 15 minutes I was ready for C-Span.

Those that glorify Charlie Kirk's assassination are sick-but entitled to speak their vile hatred under the first amendment. If they get fired, it's like at a professional wrestling match, 'Na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye'.

God bless Erika and her two children and all of Charlie's family.

I like your idea of a younger version of TPUSA. Even junior high/middle school when kids really start to think independently but are also most vulnerable to accepting the view of their peers and teachers. I am heartened by all the requests to start TPUSA chapters across the country.

He got very mad over this article and posted several pieces he had written that were critical of the J6 prosecution. (I will post) But in doing so, he intentionally missed the larger point of my piece, which was to answer his questions about MAGA support for cancel culture and challenges to "free speech" rights. Oh well.

Expand full comment
Frank Lee's avatar

The founder's intention for both our 1st and 2nd Amendment rights was for the people to defend themselves against tyrannical government power. Jan-6 was just an exercise of that. The protestors believed then, and they have been since proven correct with the evidence of Russiagate, that the election had been rigged by the corporatist and government power for the Democrats.

The assassination of Charlie Kirk was in fact an extension of this tyrannical power corruption that has brainwashed millions of young people to do violence against those that threated the tyrannical power. It is yet another escalation in their cancel culture attempts. Now you are to fear for your life instead of just your career.

There are two ways to defeat this. One - the slaughter of Democrats at the polls. Apparently losing the 2024 election soundly was not enough... they need to be crushed to dust. Two - a civil war.

I fret about the latter only because so many people are so prone to vote for their own destruction for a few crumbs of money and some fake assurance that they will be made more comfortable. The Democrats only have to leverage the struggles to fix what has been systematically broken in the economy (mostly by Democrat policies) and offer free stuff to an ignorant electorate. My hope is that the Trump administration starts to turn things around before the midterms or else this country is gone.

Julie Kelly's avatar

Thanks for this, Frank. Civil war, to the extent is already is underway, can take on many different forms. Punishing people,, especially public employees, for fomenting more hatred and lies about MAGA including Charlie, is one tactic. Another is to open criminal investigations into the funding sources and even the media to the extent it's possible. These elements have no fear because they've gotten away with it for so long. It's time to make them as concerned about consequences as we've been for decades.

Bad judgement is bad judgement. Just because one can, doesn't mean they should. I submit their absence of good judgement will bite many of the gleeful celebrants of Charlie Kirk's death. This isn't personal. It's a life lesson that apparently was never learned and some, appearing as the deer in the headlights, are learning the hard way. Hate that person all you wish but share that hate away from the social media that will reflect poorly upon employers and those who don't wish to be caught up in your issues. You'll still be employed but I suspect that infection of your soul will catch up with you eventually, unless, by the Grace of God, is stamped out.

The ability to speak hatefully online with complete anonymity is part of the problem. People say things pseudonymously online which they would not say in person. Maybe there should be a public hate speech registry, just as there is a sex offender registry, so that haters comments would follow them for life.

I sort of agree, Ken. I am not a huge fan of anonymous accounts online--problem is that some of them do vital work. They are afraid of being fired, harassed, etc for their opinions and I understand that. But these bot armies are a real problem.

There needs to be public shaming of people that do stupid things-like a pillory, or having your picture plastered all over the news and newspapers and where you work. Most would think twice before saying or doing things. But there is no punishment if you're a lefty-you just get a pardon.
