We are tired of our tax dollars being wasted, we are tired of congressional hearings, we are tired of politicians not being held accountable, we are tired of endless investigations, we are to of the corruption and no one has been ARRESTED! 😡😡😡😡

95 people have arrested according to an announcement today by the FBI Director.

I am referring to corrupt politicians.

I think the political class just wants to look the other way without getting involved in active fraud. Revealing rampant fraud in a program you supported seems like a great way to get voted out. Better to just coast along with platitudes, blaming stingy Republicans, claiming their questioning comes from wanting nobody to have housing or healthcare, thus fitting neatly into the standard party line template.

12/29/25: Compared to the scale of the crimes, "95" is a rounding error.

The fundamental problem is with the low and mid-level managers of these fraud-ridden programs. Even when suspected, the very people whose job it is to manage these programs are reluctant to call out fraud. Most have electeds as sponsors in some capacity. Revealing fraud undermines the credibility of front line management, the actual programs and their elected official sponsors and supporters. To contain public relations damage usually means a shoot the messenger strategy internally. Such revelations endanger programs where fraud is found and that means getting fired as the fraudulent programs are shut down.

All this creates a set of incentives as a program administrator to keep your head down, ignore as much as possible and hope the spotlight of investigation falls elsewhere. There is no percentage in being a hero and plenty of reason not to be.

The obvious answer is whistleblower cash awards. Knowing that the guy in the cubicle next to you might get rich ratting out the program you run has the potential to change the incentives. It might also change the kinds of people who enter service to administer these programs.

MN taxpayer. The tut-tutting can’t cut it any longer. Leave “Somali” out of it. I don’t care if they are green Martians, or Scout leaders from Bemidji. I want my money back.

Wow, is she good! I would highly recommend this clever writing, well researched, humorous in a black humor sort of way. Thank you so much for the recommendation! I have just subscribed to her, so unique. Demographically, she ought to be an AWFL, but she's the opposite, and a very strong voice. May she prosper!

I am actually fine with them keeping the money provided they get the hell out of here and never come back. We need to hang a sign at every port, airport, rail and bus station: "No Admittance. This Country is now closed to perform needed improvements."

Thanks for another thoughtful piece, Julie! 👍 Is there any possible criminal exposure for Walz in this situation? Also, at what level of coverup does the media become a party to the crime (if ever)? Looks like Trump was right again (though politically incorrect) - Tim Walz is a retard. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

I would wonder how many billions were kicked back to the DNC machine. If this occurred, and to me it seems highly because such a huge amount of being diverted, would not be something that would be easily hidden, Then I hope it comes out and is prosecuted successfully hitting Tampon Tim, and hopefully higher up.

Complete failure of local media so-called “investigative reporting”.

Julie — does this sound familiar with our local media???

Mara Gay, who is either an imbecile or is blind, doesn't know the first thing about truth. The fact that a news story is showing that people like-minded to her are committing crimes does not mean that the acts are being exposed by those of the opposite political persuasion. If she wants to be a reporter, then she needs to get with the program and report the facts. If she wants to be a member of the commentariat class, then she can just shout her opinions into a cave, for all I care. She is also showing herself to be the true racist in this picture, because she is defending non-white people for their acts of criminal intent. It's like being a criminal is endemic among black people, since following the law must be what white people do. Note to Mara: Just because some black people from a foreign nation commit crimes doesn't mean that all of them commit crimes. But it should be your duty, as a news reporter, to tell the truth about the people who (may have) committed the crimes outlined in the article. But I guess that would require you to tell the truth. And I'll bet you lack that ability, if it conflicts with your prejudices.

This scandal should be keep in front of the public by expanding the investagations of this Democrat coruption to other Blue states. Because Federal money has be stolen in these program and others it is quite fair to ask for real accounting of how money was spent. Being Democrats they are sure to grifting as much as possible which is their usual.

The Baby Boomers and X generations wonder why the Y and Z generations don’t trust them, aren’t listening to them and are angry with them. Here sonny take this shot of an experimental vaccine that the inventors of same said is dangerous and ought not be used. Myocarditis I don’t see no stinking Myocarditis in teenaged boys. Those people clinging to the wheel well of that C17 “Moose” USAF transport aircraft, were fully vetted, kill 11 Marines, 1 Sailor and Soldier on your way out of town, just another day at the office kids. Just ask the mainstream media they have the facts and nothing but the facts m’mam. Of course the Famous But Incompetent were there all along! Sure they were. On and on it goes and we out in here are just supposed to take it and take it and take it. That works until the pitch forks and torches come out. It took a Zoomer about a week of sleuthing to figure it all out and then get 121 million views. Meanwhile on the 7th floor of the J. Edgar Hoover building they circle the wagons around Andy McCabe’s $100,000 dollar conference table…”maybe we should send someone…lets wait a day, see how angry the little people really are”….they are angry….keep kicking that can down the road.

I live here in MN and there is no way around that this is simply money laundering back to the demonrat party. NGO's and 'non-profit' 101.

$hit, I am on our local fire dept and am part of the pull-tab funding operation... We generate maybe $200K for our small city and the state auditors are so far up our ass every year while the state 'loses' billions. Madness.

Great reporting once again Julie. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I want to see Walz and Company go down in flames.🔥

Every single Somali even tangentially related to this need to be denaturalized and deported. Going back to Mogadishu is far worse punishment than three hots and cot! They have demonstrated they are an invasive and destructive species and we need to get rid of them. If you watch the Shirley video, the fat, angry screaming Somali women dressed like it’s downtown Mogadishu are a far cry from people actually living in Somali. There are no fat people living in Somalia! Add this to the long list of why voting for democrats is a very bad idea!

Evil Incarnate's avatar

The parents of the no-show kids whose names were used got a kick-back.

For the amount of $ stolen there must be tens of thousands of Somalis involved. It should be child's play for a competent prosecutor to turn this into a RICO case.

bhs66's avatar

I don’t disagree. One way or the other all these Somalis legal or illegal need to be deported.

What about walz team going after the many people who exposed this? Similar to Peters in Colorado who exposed fake voter. I heard yesterday about the Minnesota voting law which allow ONE person to vouch for 8 people who dont have an ID. Just one person has to show an ID at each voting place. If these 9 people travel county to county using this process they can vote 81 times total instead of 9. Or if no on is keeping track of how many times you voted, 810 times instead of 9. Multiply this times many teams of “One person with ID and 8 without” and you could easily have 1000’s of illegal votes. If they take $billions they will cheat in elections paying thm to cheat

What to say? What does the MSM gain from downplaying/ignoring this for VP Candidate Walz? Is this all about the Benjamins on more than one level?

Julie Kelly's crime reporting once again is right on target.

The months-long, ever-unfolding story of multiple welfare frauds committed by Somalis in Minnesota is revealing a hideous truth: Tim Walz and Minnesota Democratic Party elected officials are full participants in these criminal fraud schemes. Walz and the other elected officials are receiving a BIG cut of the stolen taxpayers' money. These Democrats in Minnesota are oily criminals actively carrying out crimes of fraud.

As shocking as it is to find that virtually every Minnesota Democrat elected official and every appointed Democrat is a criminal stealing tens of billions from American Taxpayers, the most repulsive aspect of this story is that the tired old legacy media in Minnesota and New York are: 1)running cover for these criminal thugs and 2) are trying to reframe the narrative such that, you guessed it, anyone calling for prosecution of these criminal Somali's and calling for prosecution of Walz and the other criminal accessories before, during and after the fact are...drum roll please... racists! We are a nation whose morality and rule of law are in full collapse mode. The primary reason for this corruption is that the Democratic Party political machine has turned into nothing more than a crime syndicate.

The future of the nation's fiscal health now turns on two questions: 1) Will the Department of Justice, the FBI, the U.S. Attorney's Office actually indict and prosecute all those responsible and; 2) What will "We the People" do when, after any potential prosecution and guilty verdict, corrupt Democrat federal judges refuse to give prison sentences to any of these Democrat Party criminals? The endorsement of these crimes of fraud by the Democrat Party political machine and the corrupt legacy media shows to all the world that we are a nation whose moral and ethical foundations are crumbling before our eyes.

Julie, keep the stories of government crime coming!

Trump Derangment Syndrome is working for the dems.

The dems have no shame!

And in the news tonight water is wet and the Dems are managing to wrest economic trust away from PDJT and the Gop. Once again the voting citizens know who to trust with our future. Now I gotta herd them unicorns back to the ranch.
