Julie, Thanks for the details in this situation, including the left wing background of the entire family. One thing I don’t understand is why Trump can’t simply leave him employed, but restructure the organization chart so that he is subordinate to a rational (ie Republican) being. Any thoughts?

Yes. Many years ago, during the Obama administration, I applied for a job in the Office of Special Council. The post involved mediating whistleblower cases. In the end, I was told I was the most highly qualified, but would not be hired. The Obama administration proceeded to neuter the office and render it inactive. However, Trump needs to keep the office robust and remove the enemy combatant as the function of the office is key for whistleblowers (which is why Trump is running into so much interference).

Under the court order right now, he must stay in that position. It's insane because he is now seeking to reinstate thousands of USDA probationary employees. Judge Jackson knows exactly what she is doing here--helping Dellinger defy Trump.

I'm so sick of the Roberts court. His bending over to "not appear political" has made this the most political SCOTUS in my 70+ years on this planet.

We cannot have this President Trump administration hampered by the administrative state's lawfare. We cannot have single circuit court judges issuing sweeping national injunctions. Whether the left likes it or not, they don't, President Trump was duly elected and during his campaign he made it very clear what his America First agenda was going to entail, which included draining the swamp. If the Supreme Court does not quickly put an end to this, MAGA, and many "moderates," will lose even more faith in our Republic and its institutions.

Find a solution to this FARCE. The politicized judiciary is making a mockery of the title, Chief Executive of the United States.

Julie: Further, Jackson repeatedly argued throughout her whiplash-inducing analysis, the head of the so-called “independent” office of special counsel “must remain entirely free of partisan or political influence.”

Where is that written? Is that the law, or just her opinion of what's best for the country?

If it's just her opinion, she's not practicing jurisprudence, she's usurping legislative power. It's a question for the legislature, not the courts, to decide.

She's out of her lane.

Wow Julie. So he's not even one of the "hiding" in deep state rats who try to undermine?? - he's in plain sight for all to see being protected by leftist Judge ??

I hope Will Scharf and Trump's team of lawyers are on this. If they can't "fire" him can't they at least reassign him as I have read is being done w other legal moles ??

Or maybe can get congress to finally do away w "special counsel" office altogether ?? Or Trump Executive Order to do away with... Or strip power from special counsel office ??

I have read a couple of other articles on the topic of Trump's firing of Hampton Dellinger in which the argument was made that the Trump administration purposefully did not include language supportive of “inefficiency, neglect of duty, or malfeasance in office” in the cause for firing him. The articles state that in omitting that language, the Trump administration is demonstrating it is "itching for a fight" that will end up in front of the Supreme Court. It will force the court to decide which holds sway, Article 2 of the Constitution or the law that created the Office of Special Counsel.

Given the talent and cleverness of the Trump legal team, I suspect this is indeed the case. The “inefficiency, neglect of duty, or malfeasance in office” language is vague enough as to allow the Trump legal team to have constructed a reason to fire Dellinger that would have held up in a court case. They simply chose not to and are playing the long game of setting up Article 2 as the reason the President can fire anyone in the executive branch. In the meantime, the Trump administration will have to keep swatting the pesky Democrat flies away from the picnic lunch.

I am not too familiar with Hampton Dellinger. However, the Democrats have held power in this country for such a long time. They have deliberately radicalized American citizens. Brought in illegals to vote and aid in reshaping the Democrats population. They dumb down the educational system deliberately so that they can gain power. This Hampton Dellinger is here to stay in order to do more damage. Eventually the United States will crumble. The reason is the Democrats want to destroy the fabric of this country. They will get rid of free speech. Porn and crime will be everywhere. It will be ‘Pottersville’!!!

At the January 20th inauguration, Democrats gave sanctimonious lip service to the “peaceful transfer of power” to the new Trump administration. We now know, peaceful or not, Democrats have no intention of transferring power. They act out multiple ways of sabotaging Trump and preventing a duly elected president from doing precisely what the people elected him to do. The party peddling “democracy” has zero intention of respecting the consent of the governed. In fact, their total contempt for the American people is on full display. The ongoing coup against Donald Trump is entering into a decade. I believe the American people will see through this for the same reason Trump won the election. Democrats can no longer hide their despotism. It’s too easily observable.

Thanks for alerting us to this, Julie. I’m sickened by this man’s, and his family’s, obvious targeting of Trump and his admin. Hoping it works to get him out, but sometimes it’s good to have the wolf caged up in your own backyard to observe the feeding frenzy. Maybe just as some have recommended, change the position’s description and reduce his power. There’s always a solution, a workaround. And know that due to his disgruntled attitude and Trump targeting, he’s going to sue no matter what.

So why isn't he being investigated? Seems like to me he is committing treason against the American people who voted for Trump to do exactly what he is doing. Anyone who works under the administrative branch is subject to being let go when a new team comes in. As Biden is no longer in office nor a dem, his 5yr contract is voided. He works at the pleasure of the president. Regardless of who that person is. So the pleasure of the president does not extend to him. With his and his wife's connections, there is no doubt they are dirty. Investigate both, every factor of his finances and life.

Probably close to 45 years ago, I had a boyfriend whose father's job was described as an "efficiency expert". A person that does that goes into a business and finds the employees who are no longer needed or redundant and then let's them go. Basically that is what DOGE is doing. They go in and they clean out all of the employees that are no longer needed for the prosperity of the company.

Dellinger is a mouthy little twerp and his wife is just as mouthy as he is. They bolster each other's ego and with that kind of unrest rearing it's head, just to cause friction and inefficiency, something's gotta give. And that means the Dellinger has to go. It will take a while because Berman Jackson just can't accept that she lost just like Dellinger did. But he will still be gone a bit down the line.

And in the mean time, the mouthy Adam Schiff wanna be will spout off until his butt gets kicked to the curb! AND IT WILL GET KICKED TO THE CURB!!

The Supreme Court has to rule with the Trump administration, if he and the other political appointees are allowed to remain they will cause catastrophic damage to the Trump agenda and do whatever it takes to destroy the already corrupt justice department. These appointees have to be removed!!
