“Cheung’s sanctimony and sudden devotion to careful prosecutorial scrutiny is hard to swallow given her history. After years of helping the DOJ pursue clearly politically motivated investigations against Republicans, Cheung suddenly suffered an alleged attack of conscience when it came to investigating Democrats?”

So happy there are reporters like you Julie, pushing back against the legacy media propaganda who portray Cheung and her cohorts as virtuous, when in reality they have carried out the most partisan witch hunt in our nation’s history. My husband and I were part of the political persecution and I can assure your readers there was nothing virtuous in our treatment. Our integrity was attacked. We were repeatedly defamed in DOJ press releases. We were bled financially. We were not allowed to travel freely. And yet we were treated better than many others who spent years in prison, or in the most horrible cases, had their lives taken. My greatest hope is that the truth of what happened to those who spoke out against the stolen 2020 election happens soon.

Thank you, Karen--you must be happier than I am to see these operatives make their way out of DOJ. More to come

We are equally stoked, although our paths getting here are different. I will not be completely over the moon until the truth about the stolen election and the J6 coverup is widely known and accepted.

It’s our hope, as well, that the 2020 election shenanigans are finally given true investigative attention. The popular media theme of “every case was thrown out for lack of evidence” was just more obfuscation.

I agree, David. The president did indicate he wanted an investigation into the noninvestigation related to 2020 election. I am sure Kash Patel will be involved in that as well.

Thank God for Emil Bove, Ed Martin and Lee Zeldin. Hopefully they continue to come up with a long list of ethical assignments that the DOJ Swampers find objectionable; one suspects there are many more Hefty bags so to speak that still need to walk themselves down to the curb.

Thank you for this piece Julie.

Thank you, Michael. This is working out better than anyone could have expected. A great--and most importantly, fearless--team.

Truly stunning. This story needs wide distribution. The American people must be informed. They need to know exactly how these types of grift were being executed. This needs broad exposure and hopefully a noisy prosecution.

My jaw is on the floor as I dig into the groups receiving this cash bonanza. Zeldin is 100 percent on track in attempting to claw this money back from Citibank as grants continue to be issued to who knows what?

Been going on for decades here in the upper midwest in the form of solar panels and gihugic wind farms. Any dumb mechanical engineer like me can calculate cost/benefit ratio for these equals infinity. There is no way these enormous failures are installed without government cheese.

I hope these people end up dying in jail.

The scale of this scandal is massive. The grantees are a joke--at least two were created in 2023 with no record of success or how they operate. Another Biden grift, no doubt Hunter will be on one of the board's soon!

The DOJ likely needs many more lawyers to investigate all the criminality that has taken place. We are living in interesting historical times.

I agree. They are starting in the right place--DC US attorney's office--but this corruption and partisanship is systemwide.

Julie, your fearless reporting is a breath of fresh air - especially when compared with the lockstep clapping and barking of the trained-seal propagandists that too many of your colleagues in the Fourth Estate have become.

Inasmuch as you are helping to expose the true rot of corruption at the highest - and lowest- levels of government, I believe that you are doing God’s work. May you be granted even greater strength and courage to continue speaking REAL truth to power.

“Let Justice run down like waters,

And Righteousness like a mighty stream.”

Cheung was chunked!, we will miss her popular prosecutions, protecting our "security as a nation". Of import however, Zeldin has posted that $2 billion (yes!!!!!) of the Citibank $20 billion was earmarked for non-profits of non-other than the Crusader Stacy Abrams, counsel for the climate change crew. There's a pony in that thicket Julie, please find it? Abrams will be skimming big time, it's what she does.

This Stacey Abrams case is nothing less than fraud... by a member of Congress.

This company associated with Abrams was in business for only a year (with ZERO experience in green technology) and showed a total of $100 as income when they were awarded a BILLION $$$.

Julie, could you ask to be deputized as a Prosecutor, to take on this case?

The media was of course shameful in their coverage of this. I talked to one corporate reporter who just could not for the life of him figure out what needed to be investigated, claiming the money was already gone. This is how they think.
