Chris Wray conducted himself better than usual today. He knows he’s not on the hot seat because the FBI isn’t primarily responsible for failing to protect the former president. But there is no reason to trust his partisan, corrupt, dishonest agency to conduct a fair inquiry into what happened before and on July 13.
