Good comprehensive piece, Julie. I follow Sundance at The Last Refuge and he had RdS targeted in early 2022 as the globalist establishment candidate and like usual he was right. When Trump got raided it was full confirmation for me. If I were governor of the state where a former president of my party was raided I would have sent every Sheriff in the state out to protect the private citizens' rights. That is the only true job of a sheriff: to protect rights. Code enforcers are police. Ron didn't even speak publicly in protest.

Then he 'transferred' all the PAC money from the republican governor's association raised during his gubernatorial campaign to the presidential(if that is legal). That was a yuge slap to FL voters who donated to him and are Trump supporters at the national level.

Personally, anyone backed by the globalist establishment who just gave a communist pig(Xi) a standing ovation in San Fran last month can go suck it.

I too am a fan of Sundance at theconservativetreehouse.com, but I think Sundance might be a “she” and not a “he.”

Thanks for the data on the connection between DeSantis and the globalist elite. This elite has in mind placement of us under totalitarian rule by them!

Points well stated.

I believe that there is more to it as well. The MAGA base (or at least parts of it) came to recognize that DeSantis was a tool of the Republican Establishment seeking to unseat Trump - whether DeSantis himself realized it or not. I suspect he did - his vote in Congress for the TPP and (in a bit) support for the election fraud infrastructure indicts (pun intended).

Regarding the GOPe, here is one example:

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2023/05/09/georgia-gov-brian-kemp-organizes-billionaire-bush-clan-on-sea-island-to-plot-state-for-desantis-while-ga-secretary-of-state-brad-raffensperger-meets-with-zuckerberg-ceir-election-manipulation-group/

Regarding the election fraud infrastructure, DeSantis was always notably silent about the stolen election of 2020, and (in particular) the machines.

Purposeful GOP inaction before and since 2020 concerning election integrity is a telltale that the fraud infrastructure is a UniParty operation. Related to that, I've suspected that the 2022 "red wave" that didn't occur anywhere BUT Florida was a UniParty operation to make it appear that Trump didn't have coattails, but DeSantis did.

Regarding the election fraud infrastructure in Florida see, e.g., here:

https://miamiindependent.com/election-integrity-activist-gleason-bsb-7050-florida-election-fraud-legalization-act/

And here:

https://krisjurski.substack.com/p/sos-secretary-of-states-dereliction?utm_campaign=email-half-post&r=8t3oo&utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

IF DeSantis really intended to win the Presidency, wouldn't he have been diligent in cleaning-up his own state ... unless he knew that the UniParty fraud infrastructure would have his back?

More on the (presumably purposely) unresolved election fraud issues in DeSantis' Florida:

"The issue was so feared by the suspected election fraud cartel in Florida, the legislature actually passed a law to prevent access to these reports, cynically called an 'election integrity bill'."

I think he cooked his political career. He will not have a position in Trump Admin II, and he will return to governing a state that now is having many crises. If Trump selects someone like Elise Stefanik as VP, she could have a strong run in 2028. Glenn Youngkin is sure looking politically savvy. Many other strong contenders. While Ron DeSantis is an accomplished governor, he never had the right personality to transcend the national stage. While no comparison in policy Florida v. California, Gavin Newsom would win a popularity contest. To be President of this highly diverse country, you have to have personality and accomplishments. Like Trump has.

Never Trumpism is the poison behind all this. And if Donald Trump manages to win the nomination despite the Uniparty’s depraved effort to install establishment opportunist Nikki Haley, Never Trumpism at that point needs to spontaneously combust and die an instant death. It’s then the moment for everyone with a R behind their name to unite behind Trump and dismantle a despotic and thoroughly corrupt administrative state. Trump cannot do it alone. No one can. Those who choose not to are not only friends of the deep state, they are enemies of the people and the Republic. At the end of the day this election is about preserving the Republic.

That piece contains some good points to remember - Also Trump was contacted early on in 2020 by NY doctor Dr. Zelenko (RIP) about the hundreds of patients he successfully treated with HQ. Only 1 death - the key was early treatment with HQ & other supplements. As your link shows Trump tried many times to get the truth out about successfull early treatment a year before the vaccines. It seems he didn’t realize at the time that if these treatments were accepted & successful then the pharma companies wouldn’t be able to hide behind the EUA liability protection. They had to be debunked & anyone suggesting these treatments saved lives had to be silenced. And they were - along with the full force of government, ama, msm, social media, cdc, fda, etc. They all have blood on their hands.

DeSantis' big problem was that his lane should have been "MAGA without the mean tweets," but all the MAGA money was always going to go to the real McCoy, so he had to get his campaign money from people who don't support the MAGA agenda.

This led to some awful politicking, like rejecting Trump's China policy (e.g. tariffs), and failing to loudly denounce the deep state's political prosecutions of Trump and Trump's supporters (he was probably assured by his beguilers that the prosecutions of Trump would clear the way for him).

It really is a shame, because he truly was a national hero during Covid, and it now looks like he has thoroughly ruined his brand.

Julie: Very helpful article advising DeSantis mis-speaks. Have you written such a similar, concise piece on Haley. It seems many who hate Trump for his personality are persuaded by Haley. Ron just never has impressed me enough to be ready for the big stage. I hate to ask because I don't want Trump knocked down in anyway as ammunition for the Democrats. Maybe you have written - what have been Trump's mis-speaks. One can only hope if he reads, to reflect would help him to be known more as a truth-teller for the open-minded. I would be anxious to share such articles with friends to possibly persuade to overlook Trump's personality flaws for his policies.

Desantis was the right guy, wrong time. Knowingly or not, Democrats' abuse of the legal system locked in Trump as the GOP nominee just to show the Democrats the US won't put up with Banana Republic style abuse of judicial process. The obvious targeting is outrageous. Electing Trump is the best way to discourage anyone from ever trying to indict a political opponent ever again.

DeSantis started a strong 2nd, but faded as more outrageous indictments were piled on Trump. His performance this time doesn't mean he can't try again in 2028. With his name recognition boosted, and the enhanced national coverage he will get because of his run this time, should put him in a competitive position for 2028.

Read this today from POW J6 : As temperatures went down all over the country even in the South, jails and prisons are experiencing very cold temperatures inside because most facilities are in disrepair.

At the DC Gulag, temps in the cells are very low.

Guards are wearing winter jackets while inmates freeze in their cells.

DeSantis has got Scott Walker syndrome. The same people, who talked Walker into running, talked DeSantis into believing he was a shoe-in. The moral to this story is...be loyal, don't be greedy and wait your turn. That goes for NIkki Haley too. Now, they are both toast.

Great writing Julie!

What I find just beyond disheartening and in fact in retrospect disgusting is that those people that Donald Trump helped, continue to try to justify themselves in distancing their "ethics" away from the one man who consequentially helped get them elected.

My opinion is pretty much based on the golden rule. And in this case, if some one helps a person like Trump did, the worst thing you do is to keep your damn mouth shut. You don't mouth off and blatantly on the open disengage from that sort of endorsement gain. And I believe that Haley and DeSantis are deliberate in their biting of the hand that fed them.

I just can't justify having much of a good opinion about either of them at this point. Is their behavior the expected lean in the political world? If so, then I can't and won't abide by that disingenuous character mistake in either and both of them. But I'm also the kind of person that will let someone trash talk about me, 3 times. After the third time, I advance and I will be fill throttle in their face. I see that as fair because when someone uses BS to attack me, and they can't or won't substantiate their argument, then they are just being stupid and I tell them that (first with consideration and after that with informed direction that may or may not be with ire).

But, I keep finding that my decision to be like that is I guess just so different. And I still remain with that, what I like to think is, a golden rule. And I've done this for many decades.

Yes DeSantis should have waited until 2028. He was the heir apparent.

Regarding covid. Phony Tony-the little Devil in short pants, I believe he KNEW what he was doing. It's called malpractice.

On 60 Minutes he told us we didn't need masks-they didn't work. 2-3 weeks later he's singing another tune that everyone needs a mask.

Why?

Democrat playbook-never let a crisis go to waste.

Someone got to him with a 'Hollywood' script all intended to hurt Trump.

For those in the know, we already knew Phony Tony was lying.

Covid was NOT the Biblical Plague that Phony Tony wanted us to believe it was. But it was enough to scare people into staying home and voting by mail.

Hmm. No chance of mail fraud there-right.

And then Phony Tony started wearing two masks. Hmm. Evidently wearing ONE mask DIDN'T WORK.

In his case he wore TWO because he was talking out of both sides of his mouth-each one lying.

If the mask worked NO ONE would have died and there wouldn't have been a need for the (untested) vaccine (more commonly known as the death jab.

Covid was used to allow Double "0" Dummy-licensed to steal, to hide in his basement instead of campaigning.

Just wait, in 2024 there will be another covid and the same dumb governors who shut down for years will start up with the power grab again.

DeSantis was at least smart enough to stop with all of the Phony Tony lies instead of keeping Florida locked down. I give him a lot of credit for this. I too believe he very well could have been Trump's V.P. Now I see Kristi Noem.

On Jan 6, TRUMP was the government. How could he have incited an insurrection to get himself out of office?

With Iowa now over-one down 49 to go.
