Despite the abrupt departure of Joe diGenova as lead prosecutor in the “grand conspiracy” case against Trump lawfare perps, the Justice Department appears to be moving full steam ahead.
If anyone deserves to be in prison it is Brennan. Maybe one day justice will prevail and Brennan will finally be held accountable to all his crimes and law fare against President Trump. We can only hope this will come to fruition.
Brennan is up there with my personal worst-of-the-worst list. It looks like the false statements case is a no brainer. Will be interesting to see how that fits in to the bigger conspiracy and who he'll rat out in the process.
It's very hard to put all the pieces in place to secure an indictment. Not only does the team need to collect evidence, lots of back and forth with lawyers to provide documents and testimony. Since many are former government employees, I assume plenty of fights about privilege and classified materials. And unfortunately we went through one AG in the process. I understand the need for urgency but also for deliberation if they want to get this right.

Exactly, Dawn, we've already seen a few cases implode over perceived hastiness. So Blanche and Quinones now want to proceed deliberately but also on an even pace. Definitely appears we are in the quickening stage now.

09/14/26: I am equally remote from insider info but suspect that just plain old bad chemistry ended DiG's enthusiasm. That and I never liked the idea of an 81 year-old anybody getting involved in work that can drain the energy and enthusiasm of someone fifty years younger.

diGenova's resignation (along with his wife's resignation) is not particular alarming. What is alarming is his comment:
"If you want indictments where there’s no evidence, you have an ethical problem”—
This comment can only be interpreted to mean the he is saying that there is not sufficient evidence of the guilt of the perpetrators of the crime but the prosecution team is proceeding toward indictment anyway.. Mr. di Genova's statement is patently absurd on its face. Massive amounts of evidence in the form of memos, Emails, test messages, phone conversations and witness statements are already on the record and in the public domain. More than half dozen fully foot-noted books have been published detailing this evidence. So, what is going on?
My guess (and it's only an informed guess) is that operatives in the Democrat Party political machine have somehow pressured or threatened or blackmailed the de Genova's into abandoning the prosecution team and making that ridiculous statement. We all know that extremely powerful well-organized forces(e.g., CIA) have been at work for 12 years trying to bring down Trump and his pro-American policy making.
The objective and circumstantial evidence against Brennan, Strozk, Paige, Comey, Clinton and the others is considerable. When this evidence is placed before an honest rule-of-law jury, it would most likely result in conviction for all the participants. That we are continuing to see key players in the effort to investigate prosecute the guilty mysteriously resign, recant, or die is frightening. Everyone involved is awaiting the November election results because those results will determine whether the guilty will be held accountable or whether they go free and the country devolves further into corruption, chaos and criminality.
I'd be shocked, Brent, if they were threatened in any way. They've had plenty of battles with the feds and they don't appear like the type to back down. My guess is we will hear more details in the weeks to come...and yes, we know plenty of evidence exists of their individual crimes and malfeasance but piecing it together to develop a conspiracy case that includes over acts that fit into the SOL window AND is convincing enough to bring to a grand jury is no easy feat.

Among thee factors that I count as giving plausibility to blackmail is: 1) That the both resigned at the same time; 2) the suddenness of the resignations and; 3) tJoe's inexplicable statement inferring that the prosecutions are being pursued without sufficient evidence and are motivated by vendetta. Also, I have come to believe that the Democrat Party political machine (including the Democrat Socialist of America wing) has in it some operatives who do not hesitate to intimidate, black mail, and utterly destroy anyone that opposes them. Keep up the publications and posts. You have great intuition and are a sound level-headed thinker. We need you.
DiGenova might be making a deal to preserve their employment prospects with the other side. Those swamp creatures have no more morals than a rattlesnake. And it's always, let the country be damned, I come first. You can tell by the fact that his wife is a swamp creature as well i.e. marriage of convenience, and they're both leaving together.
