The midnight ride of John Roberts without the opinions below in direct violation of numerous jurisdictional and basic due process doctrines based almost solely on a false ACLU filing. Delivered as a Ukase without opinion . The worst moment for the Court since the 1946 Portal to Portal cases. Shame on this Court of midget intimidated DC functionaries. Bravo for brave Alito and Thomas worthy brothers of Robert Jackson and Felix Frankfurter.

Someone reminded him of his visit(s) to Epstein Island. Maybe showed him a picture. We are to the point where the Trump administration needs to ignore these judges, tell them to enforce their rulings.

I still say charge and arrest, then convict and put them in prison. The group of these judges and justices are participating in an insurrection and ARE committing treason against we the people. We have a duly and LEGALLY elected president carrying out exactly what he was elected to do. They are endangering our individual lives and freedom as well as trying to destroy our country. NO ONE INCLUDING THEM ARE ABOVE THE LAW!

I never thought I’d see the day when the highest court in the land was not trustworthy. What has happened to our nation, if the Supreme Court cannot be trusted to provide rightful decisions our nation will no longer exist as our founders intended. This is deeply troubling to me.

In theory its ok if the court has a low approval. They are supposed to be doing whats best for the constitution and its people. However, it’s reasonable to establish when that very unfavorable court has run afoul of the very thing it was meant to protect. They are also acting as if the term “co-equal” doesn’t exist. Which is the main problem.

Also narcissism.

What's going on? Maybe an old saying has some relevance: "When you're up to your neck in alligators, remember you're the one who is trying to drain the swamp."

Perhaps we're starting to see some of the extent of the swamp's territory.

But that's no reason to stop clubbing gators.

I am not a lawyer and not a legal professional, so what I say probably is not useful in this situation. That said, here are my thoughts.

These lower court judges issuing national injunctions and the 7 SCOTUS justices are conspiring to effect a judicial political coup d'etat against a duly and democratically elected President.

How are these judges not committing treason? How is this not a display of completely biased and politicized attitudes towards President Trump when this type of "midnight" decision was never made to any previous President who deported millions of illegal aliens?

There has been nothing that indicates that these judges showed objectivity in these decisions.

Not only are these decisions by the SCOTUS 7 justices and the rogue lower court judges who are issuing national injunctions a destruction of the separation of powers, and destruction of the President's ability to fulfill his official duties, but these acts constitute a destruction of the rule of law and the system of justice which is supposed to be blind.

Professor Turley addressed this issue of the fact that SCOTUS should have been intervening re: the lower courts issuing constant national injunctions. However, why has CJ Roberts NOT INTERVENED TO STOP THESE INJUNCTIONS? I think it is clear he has not intervened because he wants the lower courts to stop President Trump from functioning and being effective.

We are witnessing the take down of our Constitution and the President. We the People cannot allow this to stand.

They are committing treason. It is the political branches only who have any say in the fate of any immigrant. Congress legislates, and the President executes. That’s due process for the person. The Court has no say in the matter unless it’s asked by Congress to opine re: the legislation. How did we get to the point of not knowing what branch is responsible?

Amy Coney Barrett is trending toward going down in history as an epically failed nomination - worse than Souter, perhaps worse even than Earl Warren, whom Ike called his biggest mistake.

The "conservative legal establishment" has fed us 3 straight squishes in Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett. Nice job Leonard Leo.

Thanks, Julie, for this brief column explaining the ludicrous imposition of judicial tyranny in which we live currently. As this Constitutional Crisis continues to unfold before our very eyes, am I the only one who fears we are caught in a "Groundhog Day" movie? As you and your colleague, Margot Cleveland, have written extensively, this unsupportable invasion by the Article Three Judiciary into the realm of the Article Two Executive has become ridiculous and potentially dangerous. Something has to give whether that is outright defiance of these ludicrous decisions emanating from lower tier district judges or a definitive decision by SCOTUS that will restrict these injunctions only to the appropriate jurisdiction of the above-mentioned lower tier district judges. Regrettably, I also fear that the "we hate America" ACLU has learned to file suits in every district in the entire United States. All we can do is pray for a just outcome of these interfering judicial tyrants.

Tell me, how the F is Boasberg getting his pin head arrogant face qualified by ANYONE to adjudicate this issue when this or these cases should be dealt with IN TEXAS??? Isn't that what "habeas" means? That the case should be reviewed where these characters are being jailed or imprisoned or whatever? And the Boasberg TRO's WERE VACATED ALREADY. He has no jurisdiction, and yet these clowns keep pushing ahead with more TRO's.

So, this is plainly a load of dirty crusty stinky crap by the Democrat contingent AS USUAL! FOR SOME REALLY STUPID REASONS, SOME PEOPLE IN HIGH PLACES STILL ENTERTAIN THESE MONUMENTALLY FAILED ACTIONS BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO ACCEPT THAT THEY ARE LEGALLY WRONG!

It's like skeletor Jack Smith, but in a more elevated fashion, being given the keys to try "cases" against President Trump-then candidate Trump, when he was constitutionally illegal to be any sort of Special Counsel!

How is this not a continuation of the Trump Lawfare game plan that the jack off Democrats keep pushing in order to tie up all of the Trump lawyers and USA Attorneys ad nauseum just to do it???

And this S is coming at this administration from all angles. So... what IS their next stunt? This is just sick because it makes me want to toss my cookies in these jerks, faces, but that would be assault and battery!

If it weren't for the double standards of reasoning used by the Supreme Court, they wouldn't have any standards at all.

I recall a few months ago that Chief Justice John Roberts was concerned about the Court's standing among the public. This happens at the same time that the Court is over-exercising its powers by interfering in the actions of the Executive Branch. The President has the exclusive power to declare any group of people to be enemies, and any of these groups of foreigners to be alien enemies. The law invoked clearly states that the President has the exclusive right to make this determination, and the exclusive right to carry out the method of deportation.

This has been part of my reasoning that judges don't have to have prior experience as lawyers. They just have to maintain the ability of reading comprehension.

Actually, the requirement of being an attorney is relatively recent; of the 114 justices appointed to the Court, 49 (less than a majority) have had law degrees!

It was a rhetorical question; I think it time we go back to letting learned people without the legal blinders be our Supreme Court Justices. I really think Julie deserves to be considered for such a return to normalcy.
