Regarding Judge Aileen Cannon and her recent decisions, and the immense pressure she will have to endure during the ensuing months/years, it reminds me of the old maxim that "you only get flak when you're over the target." In his instance, of course, that means that she has the spine to publicly oppose the Marxist-Democrat-Party inside Moscow-on-the-Potomac assisted by the Stasi-style-Secret-Police, which used to be known as the Department of Justice. She most definitely has the guts to oppose the creation of the Soviet-Show-Trials which are already established to prosecute President Trump. This is one of the most horrifying videos I’ve ever seen about how our country is being destroyed by the exponentially growing numbers of “asylum seekers” heading for our open southern border. This “seeking asylum” business is a farce. Most never show up for court dates and those who do and are denied asylum just ignore the order to leave the country since it’s not enforced and they know that. Our system has no efficient remedy for prosecutors who politicize their offices and abuse their powers. Theoretically, the judiciary should provide a check on politicized prosecutors, but the judiciary has covered itself in shame.
Trump is not guilty of anything. In each case, prosecutors have scoured Trump’s conduct to see if the can allege a crime or civil violation. The Documents case is about a President who removed his presidential records from the WH to a secure government-funded office protected by the Secret Service after his term. Unlike Biden, who had no authority to take records, Trump is not credibly accused of taking bribes from foreign adversaries. Yet, Trump’s secure home was raided and he’s in the dock.
The J6 case is based on a Trump’s first amendment rights to challenge the results of the election and to seek a forum to review the evidence that the election was rigged and stolen. That’s what was supposed to happen on J6 (because of the riot, it did not happen). Trump encouraged his supporters to peacefully protest, as was his right and their right (the organizers of the protest at the Capitol had a permit). None of this is a crime.
No one had any plan to overthrow Congress or ignore the results of the election. Again, the effort was to determine whether the results were legitimate. The lengths that the Democrats and certain Republicans have gone to prevent any investigation into the election or the events that triggered the riot on J6 is telling.
In NY, the AG is seeking to destroy Trump’s business because he allegedly overinflated the value of his assets to obtain loans from sophisticated banks that he paid back on time with interest. Needless to say, no one other than Trump would be subjected to this clearly abusive lawsuit. I live on the northwest side of Chicago and shortly after George Floyd died from fentanyl and a heart attack I saw an article online about a group of people on the south side preparing to go downtown to protest his death. A young black woman addressing this group said that every morning when she wakes up she wonders if this will be the day she dies.
Was she talking about being shot by a black gangbanger who routinely shoot other blacks? Obviously not. She was talking about being shot by a white cop who, according to the left, routinely shoot blacks all over the country simply for being black.
