Loved your Eulogy Julie. Out of respect for the mourners, I’m trying very hard not to gloat as they suffer their loss. But Gosh Darn, what a joyous day! You are the best. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Elizabeth! They really lost it yesterday--even they knew it was coming, the spin was hilarious.

I did read Bookbinder’s and Tribes’ posts. How utterly pathetic, and I let each one know how the thoughts were perceived by people not spending 3 years waiting for guilt to be absolved by someone , with the secret hope that President Trump will have to carry this ball and chain forever while they torment him with insurrection and “overturning” the 2020 election. )Can we stop using that word? He was taking care that the laws of the land were faithfully executed, the assignment given to him as the only elected member of the Executive branch.)

I am simply amazed at the number of ignorant people reciting the talking points that the SC didn't say Trump was not guilty of "Insurrection"!

That was not the question before the court!

Trump has not even been charged with "Insurrection"!

Correct, which is why I wanted to make sure to post the one question the court noted it had been asked to consider. No one asked SCOTUS to determine if Trump committed "insurrection." Just silly talk

This was about states' right to ban people running for federal elections. SCOTUS said only Congress has that right.

It was truly about the rights of We the People, and removal of one of the few rights we are given to participate in this government of the People, by the People, and for the People. The other one being to petition our leaders with our grievances. Appalling that the franchise would be removed from half the population in three states.

This was added to the decision unnecessarily to decide the Colorado case. The majority who concurred in the decision, added that since Sec. 5 mentions Congress to resolve this Sec 3 matter, it should devise

legislation to do so. Democrats are happy about this because they are planning not to certify President Trump. The problem is that Sec 3 does not apply to the President but appointed officers who took the oath to the US, but then participated in the Rebellion in 1861. The facts do not apply.

I read the decision twice, and this summary may not be accurate. But that happy face on Jamie Raskin sure looked annoying.

The Dems keep setting the stage for a GOP fall while mindlessly forgetting that turnaround is fair play.🤦‍♀️

So beautifully, and cleverly written, I love it, Julie, your stock has gone up again, we love you, follow you, listen to you, past, and future! Keep it up, you are our lighthouse in a rough political sea! I’m a musician, just wrote a song about “Fani and Nathan”, to the tune of “Frankie & Johnnie”! Let me know, if you want the lyrics. I see the hand of God in everything that's been going on with this country regarding Trump vs. Biden. Thank you for a great article.

I see the hand of Satan pulling the strings of Sleepy Joe, the democrats and many of our republicans in DC. No denying that.

This should have been 9-0. It was stupid. The dems, and never Trumpers will try anything to get Trump. If you can indict a Ham Sandwich-why not Trump?

If insurrection is telling people to peacefully protest, the dems, and never Trumpers need a new dictionary. An insurrection is to rebel or revolt and I've never see an insurrection where people show up without weapons to overthrow the government.

Was Madonna causing an insurrection with her words when she said 'she thought about blowing up the White House'?

As for the next case of presidential immunity-if Trump doesn't have it neither does Obama, Bush or Clinton. And remember Obama said he had a pen and a phone. I'm sure he made a 'phone call' that could be considered an impeachable offense, and now that he is an ex president, he could be charged.

Expand full comment

“he could be charged.“

In theory Obama could be charged. In the real world that would never happen since Obama is a member of our ruling class and way above the law. No rule of law means no country. That’s why we no longer have borders or safe city streets.

Don’t forget Fast and Furious, and the IRS raids, nor spying on the Trump campaign, approving RussiaGate when Hillary revealed it to him. Yes, that Obama, what a guy!

I love the analogy to the five stages of grief. Sadly, the left, zombie-like in their infection of stage 5 Trump Derangement Syndrome, will never reach the final stage of grief - acceptance. Well done, Julie.

Brilliant satire, Julie, absolutely brilliant! Maybe soon we'll hear that the "walls are closing in" not only on the idiots who claim to be legal experts but, also, on the following: Tribe, Luttig, Chaney, Raskin, Smallwell, all of PMSNBC, DNCNN, NBC, Washington Post, NPR, New York Times, etc. One can only hope...

Thank you, Karlan! I have little hope in a similar outcome for immunity matter but just imagine a 5-4 decision upholding Trump's immunity defense. We might see televised suicides on MSNBC

I am concerned about what Congress will do with being able to legislate a solution in the case of Section 3. They are already planning. Raskin, Swallwell etc.

Why did the FBI never question Pelosi? She used the word insurrection. IMO this was a setup for the 2nd impeachment of Trump and this latest misuse of the 14th.

See my art I wrote shortly after J6:

A key point is that Trump has to win by 3 to 4 points to overcome the changes in state election laws which give Democrats a ground game advantage when it comes to providing many ballots including a great number which will likely be fraudulent.

I would say that the Donald Trump’s best strategy would be to emphasize that Elections undecided by midnight are void & preempted by federal law – Foster v Love (1997; 9-0 Decision). Federal Election Day statutes were designed to curtail fraud, and to infuse a sense of integrity in our electoral process. States, in failing to obey Congressional deadlines, are violating federal law. This is prohibited, and this is why late election results are void. Why did not the SCOTUS rule on this in 2020? Because no one brought it up and you can rest assured that if it is not brought up to the SCOTUS no one on the Robert’s Court will do what the Rehnquist Court did in 2000 when it jumped in to advise the Florida Court that the state legislatures and not the courts determine how and where votes are counted.

The Federal Government, Constitutionally, decides when votes are counted and not the states.

That woman, is on FIRE (speaking of Julie)!

Old Noah Bookbinder sure got his britches in a bunch and probably his colon too...oh whell. And if all of those misguided 'INSURRECTION!!" screeching Deep Stater/MainstreamMedia followers of anything but Trump have taken any of the COVID-19 vaccines, they should pay attention to that tightening chest and left arm radiating pain that may be whispering to them loudly right about now. Lots of folks have had heart issues from those shots and this kind of news just may push their pumper right into a wall.

Oh my, what will the Blue Secretaries of State do now? And how much more good Trump news are they going to be able to take? They're going to have to think up new ways to work their magic to kick all of us Trump supporters in the gonads (with those sht eating grins on their drooling faces)?

But for now, it's pretty delicious to experience "Speak softly and carry a big stick" come on back around just like that boomerang contraption. It just isn't going to feel too good to get that slicing shot at any locatable body part that is available for a good whopping with a curvy stick. Watch out lovers of all things Demo-whatever. Too bad and so sad for that sting, when they all just stepped right in the boomerang turn around trajectory!

Wahoo! Julie said it with finesse!
