Every time I get angry at Mitch McConnell, I think back to 2016. Thanks to Mitch, Merrick Garland is not current Supreme Court justice. But he has presided over a politicized Justice Department Richard Nixon would envy. This is one scary guy. Yet he looks and acts like a milksop. And he's destroyed hundreds, perhaps thousands of American's lives, I guess 'cause he can and 'cause he enjoys it.
In 2016 everyone, no doubt even McConnell, expected Hillary to win and the democrats repeatedly told him that they were going to put someone far more to the left than the “moderate” Merrick Garland when they took over yet he held firm. Why? Could it be that Mitch actually wanted someone far more leftist on the Supreme Court and that’s why he continued to block Garland for the Court and believed he would get that once Hillary took over?
This should be obvious. The 2024 election is not about Trump v Biden. It’s all about Trump v the CIA, FBI, DHS, IRS, EPA etc. Our Constitutional government, as designed, even by the federalists, and certainly by the anti-federalists was never to have agencies within the government, and especially within only one branch, the branch most likely to infringe upon natural rights, with powers never Constitutionally granted or even dreamed about.
Barak Obama, the 1999 Chicago bathhouse attendee, was right. America needs to fundamentally change, but not the way his racist, bigoted mind thinks it should. It needs to remove the concentration of power in the Executive Branch and that necessity is many decades overdue. It is why America, in 2023, is in the sorry plight it is in, headed by a sorry sot of a President, that makes Jack Nicholson, post his frontal lobotomy in “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, seem like Gary Kasparov by comparison.
Oh and Garland needs to tone down on his Drama Queen moments! He deserves two big WOOFS for how he howled with false bravado...and the questioners still didn't believe that road rat pizza brained jerk!
MTG is one of our best. She is absolutely furious over the stupidity of the garbage that rules us. I feel the same way. The harder the pigs in our ruling class work to destroy the country the more rage there will be against them. This is unsustainable. This is simply not working at all. This GOP Senator is also furious about this. First time I’ve seen her but both videos are very good examples of how rapidly this “migrant crisis” is shredding the social fabric of our society.
