I can't speak for a Jack(ass) like Smith, but his idea of trying to create a conspiracy by naming people that President Trump spoke with is beyond the pale. But two people I'm surprised weren't on his list were Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger. Unless one of them was co-conspirator #7 (I know there were only 6, but I am left with speculating about that fool's thoughts.).

👍 Thanks Julie! Jack Smith needs to be prosecuted, financially impoverished and incarcerated for the rest of his miserable life. He’s despicable. There must be many others who deserve to share a cell with him.

Let’s hope like in Monopoly, this bunch of crooks skips past go and heads straight jail. Republican Senators with back bones…they were in the Museum of Natural History, this writer saw it in a movie with Ben Stiller and Robin Williams in it. They closed the Museum, it had too much Natural History in it.

Great analysis and work like usual, Julie.

My take is that Smith did his job: financially ruining anyone really close to Trump, especially legal counsel. Giuliani is financially ruined, so is Michael Caputo and Sydney Powell. The rest were illegally perp-walked for the same purpose.

The message was to intimidate and they did it. And are still doing it until one of them pays a price and with 90% of Virginia and DC voting democrat I have to agree with Bannon: they are patting our heads until Trump is out of orifice.

I am an optimist, but not when it comes around a rigged system.

Thanks for this update on the surveillance of Senators and one Representative, Julie. After reading your previous column/article, and to sense your anger at the feckless Inside-the-Beltway-Establishment-Statists-RINOS who performed their fake outrage when the evidence was released, I really appreciate your bulldogedness with your determination to continue to unravel this awful example of the weaponization of the DOJ toward President Trump. And you are the first and only one to this point who has reported the suspected conclusion of the treachery. Thank God for the SCOTUS decision pertaining to immunity and Judge Cannon for her decision regarding the unconstitutional appointment of Jack Smith. And, to think, because he wasn't appointed under regular order, everything he touched was tainted and illegal. Keep up the good work.

Hubris is the word that keeps coming to my mind the more we learn. Whether or not people go to jail or not for their misdeeds to me is irrelevant. As long as the court of 'public opinion' leads to holding Democrats accountable at the ballot box, then I'll be content. Thanks Julie.

I want trials even if no convictions are forthcoming, bankrupting will go nicely with discrediting and branding for life. To quote Ray Donovan ,cabinet member for R.W.R. { where do I go to get my reputation back ? ].

Thank you Julie for helping us understand in layman’s terms what this deep state government that exists in DC has been doing to President Trump and anyone associated with him. I am praying but not hopeful that Cash Patel and Pam Bondi will be able to find evidence hidden in the FBI archives that will provide further evidence that all of the players who tried to take down this President with “malicious intent” are convicted and imprisoned.

So now the Republican squishes want yet another special counsel. How stupid can they get? Do they really want to spend another 30 or 40 million on a legal boondoggle? Maybe tbey can drag out Robert Mueller and his Andrew Weissman led A-Team. Lisa Monaco may be willing to give up her 8 figure gig at Microsoft to take up the job. The RINO caucus would love to see that. Another RINO favorite would be none other than Jack Smith. He could come back to investigate himself. After all, no one is better at securing indictments in the beltway swamp than the Cryptkeeper.
