Driver by driver, we need to identify all the illegals; the non-English speakers; the incompetent; the criminals and the drivers who have a long history of accidents. Hussein Osama's third term in office and the demented puppet occupant of the Oval Office by Chi-Com Joe. As a man who grew-up respecting and admiring long haul truck drivers it was extremely disappointing to learn how that industry was nearly destroyed by the voter registration drive of the Marxist-Demos and the resulting unnecessary deaths of our highways. My family and I drove from Dallas to the Florida Panhandle last week and will return in two days. To say that I'm much more cognizant, aware and distrusting of those enormous vehicles is now a statement of fact. Thanks God for President Trump's extraordinary Cabinet members, especially Transportation Secretary Duffy, as illustrated by today's press conference.

I have experienced problems with foreign truckers. I was moving some equipment for my business and used an online firm that had a "good" rating. They subcontracted to some Russian guys who worked hard and were nice enough. But one of the workers seemed to have a little attitude problem. Anyway, the head guy of the crew left the jobsite with the truck AFTER both me and the companies representative left the facility (bad idea, but I had to fly out and I thought the other people would stay till they left) and the bad attitude guy got behind the wheel of the truck and damaged the storage facility. I emailed them repeatedly and thought insurance would handle it. They denied it ever happened, even after being sent a video of it happening.... Anyway, there was no insurance company that ever got involved. It dragged out because I thought insurance companies would handle it. I ended up paying the bill myself to try and recover the annoyance of my client, but since it took so long, they were left with a bad taste. I managed to get paid back by putting a very bad rating on the online trucking company with copious details of what happened. But this took about 8 months.... All over a $1500 bill. If the people are here illegally and they run up a bill, what is to stop them from going back home?? Or maybe the US Government will give them a new identity. Or maybe the US Government DID give them a new identity, and they then "found" their actual passport and went back to being who they actually were.
Every fraudulent commercial license puts an 80,000-pound weapon on an American highway, and every official who knowingly enables that fraud assumes responsibility for the wreckage that follows. I can't fathom the stupidity that exists in this country. Who in their right mind would issue a trucking license to someone who can't speak English and can't understand basic road signs. Do they think that because they are good hearted liberals the trucks barreling down the wrong side of the highway will avoid ther cars?

You would think, but again follow the money....Julie has posted on X that Homeland Security Investigations are investigating suspects and have made arrests of state DMV employees who have accepted payments to help illegal aliens bypass DL and CDL requirements. And the issuing of tens of thousands of "non-domiciled" CDLs is a whole another mess. I believe the governor of my state, Newsom, is refusing to revoke those.
They should find the DMV hacks that issued these licenses and prosecute them. For those that issued the licenses that resulted in someone's death, the charges should be assusted murder.

Nick Shirley, was an independent journalist who uncovered billions in fraud in Minneapolis. Instead of thanking him, he was vilified by Gov. Walz and his Lt. Gov. Ellison and CNN just rolled him over the coals. For rational people this was mind boggling. For the left this was a complete meltdown on their grift against the taxpayer, whom, apparently in Minnesota is just fine.
And, of course, when Shirley went to CA and uncovered the same situation as in Minneapolis, instead of stopping the billions in fraud, the useless waste of space, Gavin Newsom signs the "Stop Nick Shirley Act" into law. It is to protect the illegal migrant businesses from being harassed and doxxed. You have to wonder why the taxpayers in these states aren't rising up, and getting out their pitchforks. Instead, once again in LA, where Mayor Karen Bass ripped apart the fire department's budget, destroyed water management for fires, emptyed fire hydrants, and decided to go to Ghana for a party, an entire community burned to the ground. And, when the election came, which is a ranked choice vote state, where the 2 top candidates won the most votes, the only sane Republican lost. Now Bass will once again, continue the destruction of LA. At least Newsom's term is up this year, but in light of the race in NYC, the left has taken power, and in these blue states, which includes Illinois and others, their populations are dropping, and by all accounts the rational people have left so at some point, they'll all have to be bailed out, by us.
We live in a rural mountain community in So California and frequently use a nearby state route highway, that is one of the most heavily traveled for big rig trucks in all of California. It connects two major interstate highways.
For the past couple of years, we've seen a dramatic increase in the numbers of vehicle crashes involving 18 wheelers on our state highway. We've been held up in traffic for hours due to the crashes and some have resulted in fatalities and serious injuries. CalTrans will fix a guardrail, a week later we'll see the same guardrail hit again. As others have stated, we try to get around them as much as possible, but it's hard, especially coming back up the mountain alongside a ton of trucks.
And of course, our worthless Governor has not cooperated with the Federal government in enforcing and cracking down on non-English speakers having CDL's....or on on cracking down on the fraudulent trucking companies where these foreigners are "trained" and then ultimately issued a valid CDL by our DMV. Hopefully the federal government threatening to withhold national highway funds to California will bring some cooperation. We shall see.
