Federal agencies will work together to root out fraud as Secretary Sean Duffy ramps up his efforts to remove illegal and unqualified truck drivers from the road.
Another follow through and win for the administration, which has been the only one (ever?) to tackle this truly deadly problem. Driver by driver, we need to identify all the illegals; the non-English speakers; the incompetent; the criminals and the drivers who have a long history of accidents. Then the roads might be a bit safer to drive!
Another win from the Trump Administration. This Administraion is uncovering TRILLIONS OF $$$$$$$ in fraud and abuse in just about every program approved by Congress and not one MSM is covering it with any sense of urgency because they are too busy trying to destroy Donald Trump .
You know, This Cabinet has to be the most active, "can do" for the American people assembled under one Administration EVER. And all we hear from certain quarters is bitching an complaining.
I have experienced problems with foreign truckers. I was moving some equipment for my business and used an online firm that had a "good" rating. They subcontracted to some Russian guys who worked hard and were nice enough. But one of the workers seemed to have a little attitude problem. Anyway, the head guy of the crew left the jobsite with the truck AFTER both me and the companies representative left the facility (bad idea, but I had to fly out and I thought the other people would stay till they left) and the bad attitude guy got behind the wheel of the truck and damaged the storage facility. I emailed them repeatedly and thought insurance would handle it. They denied it ever happened, even after being sent a video of it happening.... Anyway, there was no insurance company that ever got involved. It dragged out because I thought insurance companies would handle it. I ended up paying the bill myself to try and recover the annoyance of my client, but since it took so long, they were left with a bad taste. I managed to get paid back by putting a very bad rating on the online trucking company with copious details of what happened. But this took about 8 months.... All over a $1500 bill. If the people are here illegally and they run up a bill, what is to stop them from going back home?? Or maybe the US Government will give them a new identity. Or maybe the US Government DID give them a new identity, and they then "found" their actual passport and went back to being who they actually were.
Thanks for this piece, Julie. Quite obviously, this topic became a hot button during the previous year-and-a-half precisely because of M. Hussein Osama's third term in office and the demented puppet occupant of the Oval Office by Chi-Com Joe. As a man who grew-up respecting and admiring long haul truck drivers it was extremely disappointing to learn how that industry was nearly destroyed by the voter registration drive of the Marxist-Demos and the resulting unnecessary deaths of our highways. My family and I drove from Dallas to the Florida Panhandle last week and will return in two days. To say that I'm much more cognizant, aware and distrusting of those enormous vehicles is now a statement of fact. Thanks God for President Trump's extraordinary Cabinet members, especially Transportation Secretary Duffy, as illustrated by today's press conference.
Very good news! My question: when do we get to strip the courts of activist Judges?? Without their foolish, stupid rulings in the first place this fix could have been much easier and earlier .
