Thanks for your spot-on analysis of this horrible situation with Pam Bondi, Julie. While she certainly had to deal with the unprecedented attack of the Marxists-Wearing-Black-Robes, who were aided-and-abetted by the Marxist-Activist-Journalists-Propagandists, she should've had the good sense to go after Jack Smith much harder than she did. Unfortunately, the Inside-the-Beltway-Establishment-Statists-RINOS demonstrated their lack of balls as they bowed to the luxury which entails those precious cocktail party invitations and showed no interest in rocking the boat, so to speak. You are absolutely correct that too much time was wasted and, perhaps, that mere fact informed President Trump's decision. It will be interesting to see what happens next...

She was always the wrong person..he has a problem with wanting attractive women on his team.

Dena's avatar

I believe she was recommended by Susie Wiles,Trumps Chief of Staff.

KimboThisIsMyCountry2's avatar

And his daughter in law!

(And she was also recommended by Vanity Fair.)

Now see, I never considered her Trump attractive. She doesn't seem to spend an inordinate amount of time on hair and makeup either.

Don Reed's avatar

04/02/26: She was OUT the second she took the bait and whined, accusing the vile and odious Jamie Raskin (congressional creep) of being a "loser."

Michelle Dostie's avatar

I don’t think it was her appearance that got her nominated.

Jon S's avatar

sexist comment..not very attractive on your part....

War Eagle's avatar

I’m really surprised she lasted this long, she had a very tough task ahead of her. From my perspective i do not think she was tough enough. Hopefully her interim replacement,Todd Blanche can start fulfilling President Trump’s agenda of arresting those responsible for all the atrocities committed against him.

Pnoldguy's avatar

It will more than likely take Blanche a year or so to come up to speed and try to do anything. Mid terms will end any sense of justice as Congress remains a lame duck dressed like an elephant.

A.Jean's avatar

In my opinion, screaming at Congress (which she most certainly did), is just ugly. I believe that her attitude is one that most men, who like women, get used to and have to put up with when women get close to their period.

Call me what you will, but it's just a predictable issue that all of us have experience with. And, I am a woman! If women cannot admit that they have a monthly attitude change, not necessarily for the better, due to their hormone fluctuations around the menstrual cycle, then it may become just plain hard to be around them and that might make life pretty uncomfortable for anyone who lives with them

Just Sayin'....

The Ds had their knives sharpened every time someone from Trump’s cabinet testified. She fought back like the others did. See Kash vs Cory Booker. A five minute yelling, finger pointing match. Two Ds called Kristi Noem a clown. She fought back. The Ds even went after RFKJr. A democrat and JFK’s nephew!! He fought back folding his arms saying “I don’t appreciate your grandstanding.” Maybe she didn’t appear ladylike but this is the big leagues.

A.Jean's avatar

You are right...however, she took the bait and fell right into "Shrieking" 1 0 1. The design by the Dumb F Idiot Dem's was to bait her to blow it ... and she did! And, Whoop...Der it Iz...she displayed and paraded those peacock feathers in a full fluorescent and neon dazzling mistake! But she's a peahen, not a peacock

The pitch of her voice wasn't quite as grating but it was bad enough to make pay dirt for the DFI Dem's to capitalize on! They got her game plan and then watched her lose it, in the most obvious of fashions. AND, she has a major "listening" problem.

(Just soz you think about this in the future. When the pitch of sound rises to a getting closer to a squeal sound, that pitching frequency, pretty much rattles the insides of most every living creature! And when that happens, in my not even close to humble opinion, all attempts to listen past that point are null and void regardless of the hearing species.)

(I can relate a personal story about it that proves my point, but in the interest of not boring you, perhaps another time!)

Michelle Dostie's avatar

She’s past that in my view. And it’s insulting. She did have at least one bad hearing with Democrats reclaiming their time.

04/02/26: The Uncle Remus Tar Baby story in real life; Raskin (Antifa-D) was the audible, rude Tar Baby, and Brer Bondi, lashing out ("Loser!") did not escape:

"... Brer Fox traps his nemesis, Brer Rabbit, using a doll made of tar and pine resin. When the polite rabbit is ignored by the silent tar baby, he gets angry, punching and kicking it until he is hopelessly stuck. Brer Rabbit ultimately escapes by tricking the fox into throwing him into the briar patch."

Did you see Jamie Raskin completely thinking himself warranted to rant and mouth off at the EU? The attendees to the "meeting" just listened and let the baffoon jaw on for a lengthy crap down on Trump. Frankly, I believe that most of them just turned off their audio and did anything other than listen to that jackass!

Then one of the MP's took the opportunity to trash Raskin in a few sentences. He went so far as to literally ask why they were listening to Raskin when the more important and more relevant speaker should have been Jim Jordan. Damn that was a round house slap to a well deserved Raskin who was just using that forum to say what he can't say here. It was on Gateway Pundit.

And yet, Raskin is still refusing, as usual, to "get it" with his typical dump on Trump BullShit ranting crap. Someone may feel that he made pay dirt with his Trump Derangement Syndrome shit show of lying infested speech, And I doubt that Raskin even would allow his massive ego to listen to someone in the EU disrespecting him (correctly, deservedly and with good reason) like that learned MP did!!

People often forget that most all parts of the populated world are eons older than the USA! So, they know grandstanding by an ugly American like that miserable bitch Raskin!

Joke him if he can't take a fuck!

Democrats can't complain about Blanche, because he's a Democrat.

He must be a traditional Democrat. I thought they were all gone.

Her worst statement was when she said, "The Epstein files are on my desk, ready to be released."

Her second-worst statement was in front of a House committee when she said, "How can you be complaining? The Dow crossed 50,000 today!" a statement that had no connection with her function as Attorney General. Instead, it made her sound like a junior-high school cheerleader.

With that in the open, it's past time that Pom-Pom Bambi has departed the scene.

Don Reed's avatar

04/02/26: Way in over her head, her mouth-in-mouth disease was fatal. In the larger picture, it is impossible to succeed with junior-varsity political allies appointed to top posts in the FedGovt. They are eaten alive. And she was. Mar-A-Lago is not a good place to be sitting when evaluating talent. It just isn't.

Evil Incarnate's avatar

There's no nice way to say this- Bondi was just dumb. She fits the stereotype of the dumb blonde.

That thing with the couple of binders of Epstein files was an own-goal. Initially, they were on her desk awaiting her review, she said. She has buildings full of lawyers to do her bidding. She should assigned some of them to review them. Ideally, she should have assigned a couple of different teams to review them, each unknown to the other, and cross-check their results

ALL of the Epstein files were in a couple of binders? That should'a been a red flag. She apparently never thought to ask, is this everything? IIRC, eventually a couple of truckloads were located in the SDNY offices. A few smart, pointed questions to her subordinates would have uncovered the subterfuge without the lost time.

I fault both her and Patel for not recognizing, most of their employees in the DOJ/FBI are not their friends. They are antagonistic toward Trump, and should be expected to sandbag all efforts to advance his goals. In a federal bureaucracy, it's easy to do that while carrying out your boss's instructions to the letter.

Hopefully Zeldin will be a big improvement.

Cara Wakefield's avatar

I don't think Kash Patel had to be reminded the DOJ and FBI are not his friends, considering they aimed their cannons at him during the Biden administration.

Evil Incarnate's avatar

I want to avoid starting an argument with you Cara. I'll agree, he may be aware, but I haven't seen any sign he's proactively done anything to rid his agency of those who would undermine him.

Yes, he's terminated a few agents who gave him cause. But there are still plenty who sail under the radar, keeping their heads down until there's a change of administration, and then they'll resume what they were doing before.

Cara Wakefield's avatar

He has. You've not paying attention.

Evil Incarnate's avatar

OK. Help me out. What has Patel done to clean house?

Please don't give examples of people he fired after they gave him cause. I'm asking, what has he done to identify wrong-doers who committed misdeeds in the past?

I'm looking for examples like the FBI agent who texted an informant to destroy evidence by deleting incriminating text messages (a felony BTW). The ones who showed up at the homes of people implicated in Jan 6 demonstrations - people who had never before been arrested much less convicted - and the FBI makes a big show of arriving with SWAT teams w/ assault rifles and armored vehicles, dragging people out of their homes in their pajamas. The ones who tipped off CNN of a raid on Roger Stones' home so they'd capture the scene and air it on television. The ones who picked up Hunter Biden's hard drive from the computer shop, were told what it contained, and then let it sit in a safe unexamined for a year-and-a-half.

Does Patel have a full accounting of the part the FBI and it's informants played in the Jan 6 demonstrations? If he does, I'm not aware of it.

I could write examples like these 'til sundown. The people that did these things will continue to undermine Patel and the guy who hired him, subverting what we elected Trump to do.

I've written here and in other forums, Patel should do a mandatory written survey of his agents, with pointed questions, asking what they know, and what they have heard through rumor and hearsay, about past FBI misdeeds. The surveys should be attested to and signed. Yes, maybe some will lie. If they do, it's a felony to lie to the FBI. He should make sure they're so informed.

Maybe the experts in this field know a different, better way to uncover the past crimes and misdeeds done by people on the FBI payroll. Maybe they've done it but don't want to talk about it publicly.

Since you say I'm not paying attention, please fill in the blanks for me.

Even before the Biden era. He assisted Devon Nunez. The two of them were the first to uncover Crossfire Hurricane.

This job is a killer with TDS people in the DOJ and FBI, and the legacy media biting at your ankles daily. Not to mention the Radical Left bench in the DC District court.

I like Todd Blanche, but would jump for Harmeet Dhillon or Judge Jeanine in a heartbeat.

See my investigative reporting at the American Thinker on the massive RICO criminal conspiracy in our federal government since 2019.

This is an excellent article, Ron. Everyone must read it. It outlines the ongoing RICO case in S Florida. Don’t expect arrests. But hundreds of subpoenas have been sent including Comey, Brennan and the other ringleaders. This will be Bondi’s legacy. It’s effects will be felt for decades.

The DC judicial quagmire was very tough to overcome. But the Epstein binder was an unforced error. Trump saw for himself at SCOTUS hearing 4/1/26 the opposition & need for strength in AG & DOJ. Hope he finds it in next AG.

VeeAnn's avatar

Excellent article Julie! Well said. I wish the new AG well. Indeed there is much work to accomplish. We need a strong, professional person in the job. May Blanch get the train righted on the track. I have hope!

Don Reed's avatar

04/02/26: "Blanche Dubois As AG! What is this world coming to?" (Tennessee Williams, rolling around in his grave like an agitated agate marble in a shoe box).

sandy picard's avatar

We need a Matt Gatz type an I'm not sure Todd Blanche is that. The Scuttlebutt that he's looking at Zeldin is reassuring, but why does he raid from administration/ Congressional ranks? Surely his headhunter sons had backups at the ready?

Cara Wakefield's avatar

Lee Zeldin is the EPA Secretary, and doing a bang up job. He's not from Congress.

sandy picard's avatar

Why I included "administrtion". Zeldin is doing an exemplary job at EPA.

I believe both Bondi and Noem asked to be relieved of their positions. I expect Bondi will transition to something in Trump world.

04/02/26: And since nothing good remains unruined, she'll float down in dainty motion on a spiffy cloud of rose petals and rancid ambrosia, and plop down on a Newsmax desk.

My hope was for a military coup to clean out this rats nest called DC, but they have a new war to fight and lots of new munitions to buy, contracts to let out, cushy MIC jobs to lobby for and just plain old kickbacks.

Michael Smith's avatar

This is a great, clear-eyed analysis of the minefield Bondi had to walk and the fatal missteps she made. Thank you Julie.

May the next AG do better. It's probably our last shot to save the Republic.

Marilyn F's avatar

Thanks for the details. Will we ever know why Trump waited so long to fire her?

Darwin's avatar

Wow, great analysis, it's appreciated.

Marilyn F's avatar

Wouldn't it be a good idea to replace Bondi with an AG who has suffered under the deep state torture? Someone like Sidney Powell? Eviscerating Andew Weissmann would be a great start.

Randie Walton's avatar

It is very disappointing, especially with all that occurred for President Trump over the last decade. I didn’t expect to be here at this point in the administration. People needed to be held accountable.

It was a high priority for me, to come out swinging to save our constitutional republic, from those who want to dismantle it. I don’t believe it was just Pam Bondi that led us here.

KimboThisIsMyCountry2's avatar

Congress has a lot to do with it also. Blue slips and they are ignoring radical judges. I don’t think Jim Jordan is the man to lead the judiciary committee. We need someone that will lead in that position and Grassley just needs to retire!
