It just perplexes me why the House Republicans are so slow to move. This impeachment process seems to be a joke in that there seems to be little effort on the House side. We are told the House holds the purse strings and yet nothing ever happens. The socialists if they ha control, would hv already had impeachment done in the House and forced the Senate to hold immediate trial.

I share your frustration, Judy, with the slow progress. Just imagine if Congress had spent half the time on judicial impeachment as it has on the Epstein files! Some more encouraging news is that Jim Jordan sent a criminal referral to DOJ on Tom Windom, one of Jack Smith's top henchmen. Let's see what AG Bondi does.

👍 Thanks for the update, Julie! Seems like little Jimmy BoBo deserves removal from the bench. He’s clearly suffering from an incurable case of TDS. Nothing positive for the nation comes from people like him being a part of the judicial system. He’s a corrupt, left wing loon.

I don't see how Republicans can look at his record over the past few years and determine anything else than Boasberg using his bench for political purposes and sabotaging the will of the American people. I want to see him before the public explaining himself and his documents/comms on these cases.

Without a doubt Boasberg should be impeached. He is extremely biased and dangerous to the judiciary. Will he be impeached, highly unlikely and virtually impossible to get two thirds of the Senate votes. The Left Wing Democrats will never do the right thing as long as it helps President Trump. Boasberg will be extremely more biased when he retains his unlawful power. Sadly he will not be impeached and will be a lot worse after the vote fails. This is very unfortunate for our country.

I still want to see the process play out. I will never forget being in his courtroom the week before Christmas last year when he forced a middle aged mom to stand trial before DC jurors on four misdemeanors. He has to pay.

This ...'impossible to get 2/3s'... yes War Eagle you are correct but this man Jeb (Hubris) Boasberg needs to be shamed for all to see. Operation 'Arctic Frost' has seen a blackout in media. The presser by the Judiciary of Senator's Blackburn, Johnson, Grassley, Cruz, and Lindsey Graham was ignored but the pit bulls, Graham and Cruz were livid, and are going to go after Jeb like a junkyard dog.

Julie, Hagerty is probably on board because Marsha Blackburn is like his Tennessee little sister. (Or big sister but brothers think protection, regardless) Thanks Julie !!

While the underwear drawer's being dumped out and its contents examined (metaphorically speaking), I'd like to see an inquiry into the "random" case assignment process of the Clerk's Office. Not every judge on that bench hates Trump, but the big cases with uncanny regularity seem to go to the ones who do.

Of course I could be wrong. Or I could be right but it's just a coincidence.

Thank you Julie for this great piece.

I want to see his comms related to how he got the first Alien Enemies Act lawsuit. His story changed twice--first it was "randomly" assigned then he got it because it dealt with anonymous plaintiffs. I strongly suspect he was tipped off by ACLU and made sure it was assigned to him. That is just one of many issues GOP House must expose.

If I read the constitution correctly the courts are a division of the executive branch and PDJT is the CEO of same branch. How did we ever get to the point a dime-a-dozen robed asshat usurps power from the elected president of these United States of AMERICA ?? It is time for a tamp down in the power structure as designed by our framers yesterday.

Looks like establishing a branch filled with unaccountable lifers was not a great idea especially given the cowardice of the legislative branch in performing required oversight. I don't think Republicans have pulled a single penny from any judicial jurisdiction let alone seriously consider impeachment.

Excellent comments from you all. But, you know I never heard a peep out of Congress about the inexcusable and out of bounds behavior of Jeb Boasberg for his targetted harrassment and challenging of President Trump's Executive authority, much less the word impeachment, until the royalty of the Senate discovered they had been spied upon. The absolute indignation, the sputtering and vapors it produced were almost comical. If anything comes out of this, even a "strongly worded letter", it will be because of their scorched egos, and not left's manipulation of the judiciary to thwart Presidential authority. Anyway, IMHO.

Thanks, Julie, for this update on the proposed impeachment of that execrable Judge Boasberg. Although I am hopeful that this impeachment will proceed, based upon my years-long observation of the Inside-the-Beltway-Establishment-Statists-RINOS, you can knock me over with a feather if anything is done besides a "strongly worded letter."

My sources tell me House GOP is serious about proceeding with impeachment. They need to recognize this is a political issue with the base and if they go on the campaign trial next year empty handed--they will be held accountable by MAGA voters. What's the point of having power if you don't use it?

Julie, I'm beginning to believe that those above-mentioned Inside-the-Beltway-Establishment-Statists-RINOS are far more interested in performance art that actually doing something which will endanger the coveted cocktail party invitations. As to your final sentence, I have often wondered about that, too.

I don't believe that piece of legislation will ever see the light of day. Plus, there's a big difference between such legislation and going through the required, mandatory procedure of impeaching a Marxist-Wearing-Black-Robe. Especially when you consider that the intended target of said impeachment is a close friend of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court!

Thanks for the Boasberg update, Julie. He falls right in line with the many other examples of the Left tacitly encouraging violence against their opponents. I think Boasberg releasing that suspect accused of targeting President Trump says everything one needs to know about his bias.

Boasberg considered that would-be assassin a low risk as “someone with a mental illness with no ability to carry this out.” But she actually went to DC! That tells me it could have happened and that should be more than enough for a FAIR judge to throw the book at her. Judges like Boasberg are a disgrace. I hope your spotlight helps him face accountability.

Someone needs to remind the bathrobe wearing Boasturd that the Constitution doesn't mention would be kings in the district courts, let alone allow them to disrupt the operations of the Executive Branch. The judicial power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish.. And this guy is nothing if not inferior. His office is a creation of Congress and Congress needs to remove him. Of course, they won't because after all there are cocktail parties to attend and conference calls with their brokers to discuss the latest insider trading moves. That why Boasturd does what he does. He knows no one is going to stop him.

Since the judge is challenging the Administration’s use of the Alien Enemies Act, Boasberg should be required to submit his rationale for his actions prior to any court hearing. Allowing the courts to override an action that is not in their jurisdiction is monumental and it upsets the checks and balances of our government.

SCOTUS could clear this up fairly easily.
