Thanks, Julie! There are no words that can express the shock and horror of this event. Charlie was a force that was beyond the comprehension of most people. His legacy will be one of far greater heights, as his supporters will help end the Democratic Party which has been filled with hate and intolerance for years. Charlie was a great American!

I will especially miss Charlie’s Turning Point USA events with the variety of guest speakers. A man with a mission who changed the fate of a generation, and a nation. His legacy will continue, but I am thinking about his little girl who wants her Daddy. I think his son is too young to understand, but he will have a lifetime of needing him too.

09/11/25: Today, there are dozens of the children of those killed on 09/11/01 who are now proudly serving as police and firemen in their father's footsteps. Perhaps this will be the path of Charlie's children. I hope so.

09/10/25: Charlie Kirk changes everything. If you thought Stephen Miller in the White House and Pete Hegseth in the Pentagon were inexhaustible, just wait until they --- plus everyone equally dedicated like them who are in a position to do something about this outrage --- get into Charlie Kirk First Gear.

This was the Left's January 6th. They will sorely regret celebrating tonight. If Trump had no reservations taking out the Iranians, imagine what he now has in store for the assassins.

Next step is to move the U.S. Government out of Washington D.C. Churchill wouldn't very well be directing Britain during WWII sitting in Berlin, would he?

Don, I think everyone is in shock and still processing. But after this period of extreme grief and loss, we need to figure out how to hold people accountable for what happened not just to Charlie but to the president and others. Prosecute the funders and the media enablers to start.

09/11/25: One reason why I'm not in the stage of shock that others unfortunately are in is that I went through all this once before, on November 22, 1963. It's the exact same experience. And the shell has hardened. I sincerely hope that you, and everyone else who is horrified, recover from this without lasting damage.

I too keep thinking about his lovely wife and their two young children, who now are fatherless. So absolutely senseless and evil. Charlie Kirk was more than one in a million, a godly man who was fearless as a patriot and who spoke the truth. Praying the Lord will be close to his dear family, sustain them with His love and keep them in His care.

The LORD watches over the sojourners; he upholds the widow and the fatherless,

but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.

Psalm 146: 9

Lisa, I am trying to remember words like that and even how Charlie would want this handled. But I am filled with rage -- as everyone is -- and the lack of accountability that always follows tragedies like this. Cannot happen this time around.

Julie, keep on keeping on...doing what you do. You're carrying on Charlie's legacy. I understand the rage, we're all feeling it. Above all, Charlie Kirk's faith was the most important to him and I know because of the godly man Charlie was, he would forgive his assassin. At the same time as there is forgiveness, there must be justice. Praying the Lord will see justice is done.

Erika, Charlie’s wife is a woman of strong faith. A few years ago I participated in ‘Bible in 365’, a program that helps you read through the Bible in a year. This was Erika’s work & she spent time each month online along with Pastor Kaddis answering questions from all the newbies. So helpful! I mourn for her loss, her strong faith will help her through the darkness.

It makes perfect sense that President Trump trusted you and Charlie to advise him on J6 pardons. Thank you for that service; everyone should know that your expertise on the subject is unmatched. Thanks for the nice tribute to Charlie. It’s beyond tragic to lose such a bright light at the young age of 31.

It was an honor working with him to help the president in fulfilling his pledge to the J6ers. Both Charlie and Trump work from the heart and that's why he will be missed so deeply.

Well done. Charlie raised the banner. He gave me hope in the future knowing he was going for generational change.

There a lot of good kids in the USA. Leadership with vision makes all the difference.

Charlie built a good team around him. The next national election: "...when the team is up against it, when things are wrong and the breaks are beating the boys, ask them to go in there with all they've got and win just one for the Gipper."

This has been a devastating week. I know regardless of politics, I can empathize with human beings who care for others. I can mourn the loss of a husband and father regardless of their politics. Sadly, I can comprehend the vile hatred online, as that is to be expected. What I could not have imagined was what happened in the House of Representatives, the People's House, following his death. I am not sure what happens next.

Thank you for this heartfelt piece, Julie. My sincere condolences go not only to his lovely family but, also, to you and all who knew and loved him. A true Christian martyr was taken from us today. He is now in the bosom of God via Jesus Christ. Our prayers for his family will ring throughout this wonderful land today and use this as motivation to continue his amazing campaign on college campi.

A wonderful tribute Julie. I'm sickened by Charlie's death.

But face it, this was a political assassination. The other side doesn't want our youth straying from the progressive mantra. Somehow, we have got to have the courage to continue on. America is broken and it looks like the good guys are coming in last.

Julie Kelly's avatar

The good guys we put in office and in power need to step up. Open investigations, hold Congressional hearings, cut funding, demand firings of journalists, reporters, and influencers who have stoked this for over a decade. It's one thing to apprehend and charge the shooter--it's another to hold all the evil forces behind him accountable.
