That's a very good point. I am hopeful, but not terribly optimistic, that SCOTUS will overturn some of the most egregious J6 cases. But they are all part of the ruling class now and don't want to risk falling out of favor.
Most Republican elected official and Republican establishment media organs like the Wall Street Journal treat the J6 cases and the Trump cases as if they are legitimate cases. There is nothing legitimate about them. Many J6 defendants have been prosecuted for being present at a rally at which certain people rioted, even though they did not. Furthermore, they had no way of knowing that they were in a restricted area. In many cases, they were waived in by police. This is not normal or just. Nor is it a close call. It is an outrage.
In NY, the state’s Attorney General is seeking to destroy Trump’s business. This is not normal, but the WSJ reports on it as if it’s a real case. It’s an abuse of power for which everyone involved, including the Judge, should be held accountable. The same is true for all the cases.
No one except Julie Kelly and a few others ask any questions at all. I’m waiting for Julie to be charged with insurrection for asking questions about the “random” selection of Appellate Panels.

It's called the Swamp but it really represents tribal behavior. The tribe entrusted with operating a Constitutional based government lacks principles, morals, ethics and honor. When you give such people the levers of power, which can be used for their benefit, you can expect them to be bribed, threatened and easily coerced. In essence you put your personal liberty at great risk. The culture is more rotten than Orwell, himself, could even have imagined. And most of all, despite the lack of a Constitutional based government, it could still operate somewhat effectively if there was accountability. Exactly what have House Republican done to undo the J6 prosecutions? Julie Kelly is an astute observer who provides clarity but she lacks power. Again, what have House and Senate Republicans done to address injustices that would not even be tolerated in militant Banana Republics? All of them should be acting in solidarity to address the assault on the Rule of Law and the Bill of Rights. They huff and they sometimes puff but do little more. At the very least they should impeach Joe Biden and tie the impeachment to the open borders and what may soon become an American October 7. And as part of the process they can certainly find a way to make their consternation over the J6 prosecutions part of the impeachment drama. Democrats would have already done it again and again. Barack Obama has done, with his judicial appointment legacy, what he could never do openly as President. Joe Biden is the proxy benefactor who inherited an army of judicial activists which are now wearing black robes because the President, Barack Obama, who fundamentally wanted to change America, who sympathizes with radical, pro Hamas Muslims, understood that the US Constitutional republican form of government was only as good as the justices he appointed would permit it to be. He appointed the ones that did not even hide their allegiances. He preferred social justice warriors who were openly hostile to the US Constitution. They all understood the Constitutionally based Rule of Law and wanted to change it, via their appellate decisions, to something far removed from what they took oaths to uphold. Because they lied injustice now thrives.
We need to be talking about "qualified immunity" that these judges and prosecutors got from a Supreme Court decision in 1976. Our federal laws need to curtail the immunity of these judges and prosecutors so that they can be personally sued for violating the Constitutional rights of their victims. We also need Judge Substitution, where a judicial victim, can get rid of a bad judge. This is ridiculous.
