I hope they keep this up, GOP has gained over 2 million voters while the democrats have lost over 1.5 million. Their approval rating continues to fall because they think all the free publicity will win over Americans. Let them keep fighting for felons and illegals, the only way they win another election will be by cheating.

I fear they know they are failing, and thus are refining their cheating. Why doesn't Mark Warner care about a real constituent, say a young, poor first offender on parole whose life could be turned around with some help. No, he wouldn't get camera time or increase his virtue score.

Exactly. Dems only show up to check on the status of people in custody if they are illegals. Meanwhile our prison system is a national disgrace.

But we Republicans don't care. Only Dems care. Just ask them.

I agree. And as this saga continues, we can expect to see more Democrats rally to Garcia's side. Cannot imagine why they think this is a good strategy but I'm all for it!

Thanks for this update, Julie. At the risk if being redundant, I firmly believe that President Trump's administration ought to go ahead and send this execrable creature to Africa and force that idiot Marxist-Wearing-a-Black-Robe to enforce her ridiculous order. It is eminently enjoyable to watch President Trump play three-dimensional chess while his opponents believe they won the game of checkers. I'm hopeful that he continues to advance policies which force the Marxist-Demo-Party denizens into the proverbial corner as the insist on being on the 20/80 side of important issues.

My guess is Judge Crenshaw will issue some sort of gag order in the criminal case--just imagine an illegal criminal succeeding in silencing US citizens serving in top positions in the administration.

Rev. Karlan Fairchild, MDiv's avatar

In other words the judicial coup d'etat continues...which is precisely why I believe that President Trump should push the envelope and continue to do the job that the Constitution authorizes him to do and for which more than 77 million voted to elect him last November. Otherwise, this obstruction will continue unabated.

Fair enough. He was released from Putnam County. I live on its edge. Its the Northeastern division of the Federal Courts in Nashville. So, it would be that list of judges. I saw one article that said a a magistrate heard the case. Perhaps you can research the Nashville list and those who go out to hear cases in Cookeville. There have been cutbacks in the northeastern division.

It was a federal district court, not a state court. It took me an hour to find it. Almost nobody is mentioning the name of the judge. Judge Waverly Crenshaw, appointed by Obama, followed the same “logic pattern” as Judge Xinis, stating that Abrego was a low flight risk, and pre-trial detention was not required. Xinis ruled that Abrego could not be detained by immigration authorities in TN, and that he must be allowed to return to Maryland, where he was again detained by ICE. H/T local NBC News 4. It’s odd, though. Wikipedia says he retired in 2024. I don’t know what to believe, except that it’s more evidence that some judges are more interested in being excessively lenient towards illegal aliens than enforcing the law.

Excellent point that at least Floyd was a citizen. And to add to that, consider the concern that the left has that Garcia receives his right to a fair trial and the gag order to prevent DOJ statements from “materially prejudicing this proceeding,” according to his attorney’s motion. Now use that same standard to how the jury pool was tainted in the Derek Chauvin trial – the media circus, no change of venue, and prejudiced statements from leading Democrat politicians, including MN Governor Walz, AG and lead prosecutor Ellison, and Minneapolis Mayor Frey. Liz Collin in her excellent book “They’re Lying,” detailed how all three of these men asserted Chauvin’s guilt in public statements prior to the availability or the police body cam footage or the autopsy of Floyd.

Or even better, consider the denial of fair trials to all the J6ers, the tainted jury pool, the MSM misreporting and lies, and the propaganda churned out by the illicit J6 Select Committee as the arrests, prosecutions, and trials were being conducted and slow-walked through the DC court system for four years. We all know that that there were no calls for gag orders or principled arguments rooted in civil liberties from the left in these cases because they do not believe in these neutral legal principles to begin with -- the law to them is just an instrument of politics.

The lefty immigration attorney for Kilmar Abrego Garcia (KAG) scoffed at the thought of ICE sending him off to Uganda, a country "where he doesn't even speak their language". He said this as he's standing next to the interpreter for

KAG.

Think about that for a moment...

On the other hand, being assured of a living from his cartel connections (which he would need in order to continue his human trafficking racket), why does he need to make a legitimate income in the American economy, given its requirement to have at least a basic ability to communicate in English?

Yes, it is true: Saint George Floyd WAS a United States Citizen. But that didn't stop him from asphyxiation on the streets of Minneapolis.

And KAG is no model human, either. He already had his "due process" back in 2019, and was ordered deported to any nation other than Guatemala (according to Shipwrecked Crew). The judges that have run interference for him for the past 6 years are a pox on the judicial system in this country. Every single one of them deserves to be indicted quicker than I can find a ham sandwich at the local Wal-Mart grocery department.

This entire case is a pox on the criminal justice system, and most especially the so-called judges that are proving themselves unable to read and understand the English language. They are becoming as useless as a second Joke Biden presidential term.
