Democrats and the media fear two SCOTUS rulings will rescue Donald Trump and gut the J6 prosecution. Their howling at the wind demonstrates frustration at not being able to do a damn thing about it.
The beginning of the end. Trump will get some sort of immunity, and the J6ers will get a reprieve on those abused (sarbanes-oxley financial) statutes. Blame and shame will inflame and depress the democratic voters. Next up, Trump gets (at least) a hush money hung jury, and fun time with Hunter finally on (real) trial. I only hope that Hunter's trials last as long as Trumps. Thank you Julie for the 'only reporter' covering the J6 stuff in depth, you are a godsend to the USA.
The Supremes will rule the president has immunuty for "official acts" and will kick this back to the trial court to determine which of the counts did not constitute an official act. The Cryptkeeper will argue that none of the counts involved official acts and the trial judge will immediately agree. Trump will then appeal, the appellate court will agree with the trial judge, and we will be back to the Supremes. By the time this all gets resolved, one of Hilary Clinton's grandchildren will be president.
I've not been impressed with the SC's courage so you may be right. This stuff is destroying the Justice system and the SC should have stepped in and stopped it.....wait the Justice in charge of NY courts is the Wise Latina who cries when decisions go against her way..

Once again, Julie, you have provided a succinct description of the perilous fate of the bogus indictments against both the J6 protestors and former (and, I'm hopeful future) President Trump. Additionally, you also provided a terrific explanation for the ridiculous and childish attacks on both Justice Thomas and Justice Alito. And the Socialist-Activist-Jouranalists-Propagandists, who were positively orgasmic when the original indictments were released publicly, will have to immediately ignore the rulings and pivot to calling former (and, I'm hopeful future) President Trump Hitler on steroids. All we can do is pray that the Chief Justice grows a spine and agrees with the majority...
It was news to me that an upside down flag was a J6 symbol. Since that is not common knowledge, Dick Durbin should have to prove his factoid or shut up.
The Appeal to Heaven flag was flown by a Prayer group near the Capitol because the group went there to do exactly that. That is also the flag General Washington flew during the War for Independence. It has a long history reaching back to Abraham. I’m almost certain the Alitos have 1st amendment protections.
It's pathetic, but the Democrats' new line is, "The meaning of any symbol is what we decide that it means." This is like the statement of former president Bill Clinton, when he famously stated, "It all depends on what the meaning of 'is' is."
The US flag being flown upside-down had a specific meaning before any of these events unfolded. That meaning has not changed. The fact that some people may have misunderstood the symbolism doesn't mean that this has suddenly become a symbol unique to the J6 movement, even though one attorney who has represented several defendants in these cases notes that he never saw pictures of the symbol used by anyone he represented. Therefore, there exists no connection between what Mrs Alito did in the dispute with her neighbors than what Justice Alito feels about any case that may or may not come before him during his tenure as a Supreme Court Justice. It's just a lame excuse to connect the dots for things that are not even on the same page.
In conclusion, I would not be shocked if Laurence Tribe would make appearances in the media presenting his usual straw-man arguments about this matter or anything else he decides to yap about. Every time he does so, he demonstrates his clear lack of understanding of language.
Tribe is not nearly as big a problem to the rest of us as the millions of zombies watching CNN that will believe him. He probably doesn't even believe his own BS, but the zombies do. The only good news is that the number of zombies, while huge, is decreasing--mostly due to Julie's work.

He was asking his viewers to contact his staff if they have been the victim of a crime committed by someone out on bail or on parole. "Why aren't these people incarcerated?" was a line in the promo copy. I'm sure he will get lots of calls.
